These evil people are going to picket that little girl's funeral, the one that was shot in arizona the other day.

These people make me so sick, I have a hard time not feeling hate when I think about them or see them and their foul signs on the news. They have hurt so many people, for no reason.

What are these freaks getting out of this? Why are they doing this? What must Jesus think of this evil display of hate, done in His name even????????????????????????????????????????????????

Can you even imagine what He will say to those people on judgment day?????

These folks are evil and are giving Baptists a bad name. These folks need to be taken down and I'm not talking about violence, but there has to be a law somewhere that will stop them.

Holy Father, Creator of all, I call upon You in the wonderful Name of Jesus, to stop the evilness that this group is doing to those who are grieving. I know there is a way that you can do it, even if it's just to stop them from speaking or allowing a non life threatening illness fall upon them. The hearts of this slain little girl is overflowing with grief, and I'm asking you to protect them during this awful time. Give these people car trouble. Have the vehicles just break down for no apparent reason. Lord, you must put a stop to this ridicule during a funeral service. Lord, there are so many ways to stop them from invading the privacy of this grieving family and I trust in You to do just that. Lord, I've lost a grandson, but never a child, and I thank You for that blessing. Protect this family.....put Your arms around them as they need you so desperately. Harbor them from harm. Don't allow this evil to creep into their pain. Please help these parents to cope with the waste of life for their daughter. You know what it is to lose a Son. Their hearts are breaking and I trust You to guide them through this tragedy. Thank You, Father for all that You do and what You will do. For it's in the loving Name of Jesus I ask, Amein.

I'm sure my sentiments toward Westboro Baptist are the same as yours, so I won't bother typing them out. That and "If you don't have anything nice to say...."

This reminds me of the thread last week about how the word "Christian" has such bad connotations. It is no wonder people hate Christians, when they hear about Westboro, they think that is what all Christians are like.

Whenever the name of Westboro Baptist comes up, I always mention the Patriot Guard Riders Home (and you can find videos on Youtube) They are a group of bikers that show up to funerals that are being protested. They protect the families from the protesters, and rev their engines to drown out the hateful chanting. I can just imagine - a wall of bikers between the mourners and the protesters. Who'd want to cross that line? Remember the kid who got expelled from school because he had an American flag on his bicycle a few months ago? The Patriot Guard Riders escorted him back to school. It was quite a sight. A little kid on his bicycle, with the flag on it, riding down the street, followed by dozens of bikers on Harleys defending his right to do so. I love those guys!

I think westboro backed down on this one and decided not to go........they were bribed not to go......they accepted radio air time in exchange for their canceling their protest of the funeral. Unreal.......just unreal, evil, vile and disgusting.

Well, that and Arizona passed a law that forbid them to get within 300 feet of the funeral site.

A local station interviewed the woman yesterday iirc. Wanna talk about nuts?

I really feel it for the phelps family that has been lead down such a dark path by this man.
