So, have the issues with the Wet Box (buttons, wiring) been resolved? I'd really like to buy one, but I'm worried about tossing good money away. Thanks!

I love my wetbox! I have three of them. Bruce at clouds of vapor has always been very responsive to any concerns I have had. In fact he is one of the few vendors who posts a phone number on his site that he actually answers or calls me back soon. I had to return it to Misty because i was a little overzealous with pumping and corroded the switch. Now that i know i need to keep the innards of the box dry, i have had no problems. But now that I read the thread again Ericscott never really said he bought his wetbox from COV --

Same here. Mine has never worked right. First day getting it, I had problems. First response from COV was to send it in to get it fixed for $15. I mean, come on, I had it one day. Then, I got an email that he would pay for it. That would still be mailing costs. Anyway, I don't think BigBuyer at COV is the problem, I think it's the wetbox has problems. Inside wire that is connected to the top of the metal piece for the battery pulled loose, the stuff that is glue inside has all pulled apart and I think for the money at this time people could do better.

Just my opinion.

Bought mine July 10th. Spent another $50 on chargers, bottles, needles, etc.

It works great but the needle assemblies are junk and a month later they leak all over the place.

So I decide it's time to order another needle assembly bottle and they don't even carry them anymore.

$100 and a month later all I have is junk that I can't use.

Edit: I have the 808 version which requires a shorter needle assembly than the 510.

I also have a WetBox that I bought from COV. The first month was bliss. Clouds of warm moist vapor... yum! Then the switch burned out. I replaced it with a nearly identical switch from MadVapes. (I got the shorter actuator version) A week or two later, the second switch burned out too. :( I give up!

I'm going to build my own bottom feed mod following Dreams N Chains or Connman's tutorials. (they use LDOs to prevent switch burnout)

BTW... The needle assembly bottle sold by COV didn't fit my WetBox... the needle style is different than the original on my WetBox. The opening where the needle passes through is molded out of hot glue to fit the original style needle, the replacement assembly sold to me by COV doesn't fit. It wasn't worth the trouble for me to drill out the opening, I already put too much labor into repairing a burnt out switch. :glare:

:2c: Just sayin...

Been using my wetbox from COV for 23 days now, I use it a lot, drop it a few times on the floor, still working good and I'm still in heaven. Though I do understand why some people have trouble with it, they are homemade, some of them might have a problem, I still think it's really worth it and I will buy a backup next month.

I just saw that vaporjunction and cloudsofvapor doesn't carry KR808 needle bottles anymore, anyone know why, would a 510 fit anyway ?!?

I've had mine for a couple of months now. About a month ago, the switch started to get flaky and then barely worked. I poured some isopropyl alcohol in a bowl and dunked the WetBox in it, really working the switches back and forth - all kinds of gunk came out. I blew it out with compressed air and it's been working fine ever since. I had seen where someone made a little gasket from a piece of carto condom to slip over the syringe to help stop any leakage. I do something similar - I use a little square of paper towel instead, folded over. I punch a hole in it with a paper clip and slide it over the syringe. The little hunk of paper towel absorbs any juice leakage, and I just replace it every couple of days.
