I personally don't use wet (premade) coils at all...I'm more careful now
and keep my replacing a coil away from the sink board in the kitchen where it got wet...
Because it was a expensive TFV8 coil I tried blowing it dry with a hairdryer..It dried alright but tasted awful and produced very little vapor..
I tossed it in the end...
