Wet DNA - salvageable ?

So I gave my vapor shark dna 30 some swimming lessons - it didn't go very well.
The device still works, sort of. It's stuck @ lowest wattage setting & won't respond.
It fires at lowest setting but that's it.
Disconnected battery & fiddled around with it - no dice.

Any suggestions to revive this thing ? Or is it toast ?

remove batteries put in bag of dry rice and leave for a day or so.

The unit appears to be dry now, have all the guts out of it, are there unsealed components in this thing that can remain wet ?

The whole board should be waterproof. Should be anyways. Sounds like the down button has a short or the circuit has a short. Let it dry out some more and it'll be fine. My rdna 30 took some swimming lessons as well. It worked out in the end.

Appears dry and really being dry are different things for wet electronics.
