So how likely isit to get dry lung from vaping and is dry lung actually a thing lol

I hope that was sarcastic. Although technically, you could "acquire" dry lung immediately after dying from a vaping related illness, except that I don't actually know of any.

The dry lung malady could be acquired by smoking though by dying from some smoking related illness, but I think all jokes aside it's sort of a side effect of death and decay. I've watched plenty of crime shows and dead lungs don't look that great or you know, wet either.

What??? Where do you get these ideas from? Acquiring something immediately after dying?? And dying from a vaping related illness? Acquiring dry lung by smoking, and then dying from the smoking related illness? :?:

When I taught Anatomy in Science classes for years, we used to examine pig and cow lungs in class (as well as hearts and other organs), that I'd get from a slaughterhouse. They were always healthy-looking, various shades of pink, and were always slightly damp. Guess that's because there were no smoking nor vaping cows or pigs. :D

Bhahah @JCinFLA you sounded JUST like my science teachers in HS, although to be fair me and most of my classmates like, juiced up our lungs every day by smoking out of an apple and/or carrot pipe.

I did briefly take science seriously in college (well, bio anyway) and it may horrify you to learn that I was in part responsible for sequencing part of the human genome (I do sort of worry that perhaps the whole ah, "vaccines cause autism" movement was based on the chunk I did.

I think you can acquire things after death though, and like, I fully expect to acquire 1/4 of my mother's estate after her death (if she ever gets there, which like so far NO and also GOOD) but also I think if I am talking about a fictional condition such as "dry lung" well I'm going to bet you could acquire it almost any time, there are plenty of like, hypocondriacs out there who'd enjoy acquiring "Dry lung" and there might be a movement where like, they only ate stuff like flour and drank gravy because like "Water is too wet."

LOL my bad these were the types of explanations that drove my science teachers crazy in HS, but to be fair, my vocal cords were also hydrated and ready to go, thanks to the apple pipe.

In fact, I think I spent an entire lesson plan arguing that pigment colors going black if you mixed them was an irrational aberration given if you mix colors non pigmentally they should NOT turn white, and they even got out the prisms and whatnot they got so annoyed.

I should note that I went to one of them like, arts and creativity alternative schools for troubled but wealthy teens.

This is why I am such an effective social worker frankly. I "help" people with their problems until they get done talking about them, and they leave, probably thinking "OMG I feel so much better that lady has problems. Give her a really good feedback score, maybe we won't have to go back and well, like, she has ISSUES, give her the 9.5 out of 10 she NEEDS it."

Mostly tongue in cheek. Mostly. Also, I'm not so big on dissecting things, certainly not baby piglets, but I'm talking about years worth of decay and desiccation etc.
