Whaaaaa! I hate USPS....a rant

So, I've been stalking the USPS tracking info for my mini. I was all excited last night because the USPS tracking info indicated it was scheduled to be delivered on 11-12, which would be today. Well, I just rechecked the tracking info to see if it was "out for delivery" and this is what I found:

Your item arrived at 10:06 am on November 12, 2011 in AURORA, CO 80xxx. The Postal Service expects to deliver the item on Monday, November 14, 2011. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

had it get to Aurora 4am today, you would have it in your hands..carriers have already left the sort facility to deliver mail that arrived earlier.

perhaps you can go to the post office and get you package right now ?


wonder how much shipping would have been thru ups or fed-ex ??,,and you still wouldn't have it anyway

Actually, I got a big shipment from West Virginia earlier this week via UPS GROUND and it only took two days...and was delivered right to my door. (Have to walk a couple blocks to the USPS mailbox.)

Which will majorly suck for us and all the vendors. Despite all the flaws of the USPS, there still is no cheaper way to get our juice and supplies to us unless you happen to be fortunate to live near a supplier that has what you like.

Sorry it sucks waiting .....

but it really only took one day to CO .... then 12 hours to get to your PO .... but it got there after sorting for the day was complete so you have to wait till Monday.

Waiting is the worst part though.

Hey peeps!! I'm about ready to post a rant recant...because I RECEIVED MY MINI!!!! WhooHooooooooo!! Unlike what the details of the USPS tracking info listed in my original post (above), my mini was actually being delivered per the tracking information I had seen last night. Why it pushed it from expected delivery on the 12th to expected delivery on the 14th, I don't know, but I'm happy for that!! USPS is now back in my good graces. Now if they would just bring my packages to my door, like UPS, I could be a totally happy camper.

I also don't think I've been so excited to receive a package in my life like this one...and I do much of my shopping online. Thanks for all the support and empathy during my short time of psuedo-woe. Carry on....

It sure is, mlinky!!! I had my batteries and carto all ready and waiting!! This mini is amazing!! The craftsmanship is just unreal. I am a perfectionist and used to do a lot of woodworking in fine woods like cocobolo, padauk, purpleheart, etc., so I really scrutinize things like joinery. I've been admiring the little rabbet joint on the door and how close the tolerance is; and then there's the round-over on the edges...and,and,and..... It is a true little work of art. Rob really analyzed everything down to the most minute detail!!!

Oh, and then there's vaping....

i never trust the usps tracking system,,,the way it updates is p*** poor at best ...

Thanks, Rhapsodies!! It hasn't left my hand since I fired it up. I just keep turning it over and over, and holding it under the light.... I am so pleased with this little thing. The only problems I'm having though are: I'm a lefty and can't decide which hand to hold it in, and I keep accidently turning it off when I go to press the button. If only the rest of my life was so easy.... I'm lovin' it, to say the least.

that's what I love about them....you can use them in either hand. With use, that button should firm up a little so it won't turn as easily. Also, if you are using your forefinger to press the button, try repositioning the mod and use your thumb. That might help a little. And it gives you another option in how you hold your mod.

Thanks for the heads up about the button tighening up...although it's certainly no biggie. I am using it with my thumb. It feels really sleek that way, and it helps me keep a good grip on it, too. Obviously I have very little hands, and the rounded corners are just nice, nice, nice. Even though I can't squonk with one hand, the mini is just so comfortable. Thanks again...and thanks to Rob, too.

I ordered something from want2 vape. com, who ships only on Saturdays apparently. Anyway, it is coming from Florida and I'm in the other corner of the u.s. in Montana. It just sent out yesterday, yet the tracking info says it will be here Monday. There is no way. So, who has an estimate of when ill get it?

Yep, I am a design freak, and the thought that Rob puts into each design decision, and the craftmanship in execution, is without peer.

it depends on a ton of variables....I'd say sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm beginning to think that the farther away you are the faster it will get to you. Maybe because they would more likely use air travel over more of the distance than road travel. I'm guessing Tuesday. Do I win a prize?
