Well, what are your favorite flavors? Maybe you like coffees, desserts, fruits, teas, candy, mixed drinks..? I'd suggest choosing a theme like that and getting compatible flavors. That would allow you to make lots of variations of your favorites.

Because you're getting just 8, I'd avoid getting one coffee, one dessert, one fruit, and so on. You're less likely to find a combination you like with only one flavor from each basic group.

If you list your favorite food/beverages, people can suggest which of those types of flavorings have worked well for them.

Don't forget to add TFA Sweetener (sucralose) or Cotton Candy (Ethyl Maltol) unless you plan to buy powder form & mix it yourself. Whipped Cream, Bavarian Cream, or Vanilla Swirl is good to mix with other flavors. Many folks also like to add a bit of menthol &/or Koolada to fruits. From the TFA flavors you have listed I highly recommend Strawberry Ripe, Peach Juicy, Mocha, Milk Chocolate & Caramel. I have others mixed up but haven't tested them or didn't like my initial experiments--green apple, bittersweet chocolate, chocolate extra clear. I have high hopes for Whipped Cream & Cinnamon Flavor but haven't tasted my last experiments with them yet.

My 2 favorite DIY mixes use Watkins & McCormicks extracts from Walmart--Lemon, Coconut, Peppermint, Mint. I like to add a little Peach Juicy or Strawberry Ripe to the Lemon, I combine the peppermint & coconut, and the Mint I have is like Extra Spearmint Gum--my favorite.

I've been working on an apple-cinnamon vape for months but can't get it right. Apple flavoring must be tougher than chocolate or flavor chemists have no idea what a real apple tastes like--It is not Red Delicious or wax---YUCK! Some of the cinnamons taste more like nutmeg, also which is just wrong. TFA Green Apple is good immediately but soon devolves into apple peeling so make small batches of it. That's the only one I've messed with so far that has done that but I suspect others will, too.

There are individual threads here for most of the popular flavor manufacturers as well as many manufacturer specific recipes.
