What a difference a proper mod makes!

I just bought an eleaf istick. I was using, for the few months I've been vaping, only eGo type batteries and decided to spend a little more on a mod and an RTA (EHPro kayfun lite).
The istick just arrived. I know it's not the most advanced piece of vaping hardware, but it's a huge step up from the eGo c twist.
I mean, with the same clearo (nautilus mini), the same juices and, allegedly, the same voltage, this thing makes my vaping experience so much better it's almost unbelievable.
If you're using an eGo battery, and you're serious about going on vaping and quiting smoking for good, by all means buy a regulated mod. It's really, really better.
I realize in the U.S. it's not a big deal, you can get a mod by $30 or less, but here in Brazil an istick goes for at least $100,but it's worth the money.

Now I expect the kayfun to be another step up, after I get decent coil building and wicking skills.

Just sharing the experience anyways.

Thanks for all the help you at this forum give to us at the community.

Cheers!

Yeah, I've been watching a lot of those rip trippers, pbusardo and the like videos on YouTube about coil builds and RBA reviews, but I know when I get my hands on it I'll run into some difficulties, but that's part of the beauty of it, I think.
I could never play around with cigarettes in a geeky way, so that's a clear win for vaping. :)

Thanks for the replies.

Well, there's importing fees, there's shipping, and there's the fact that the e-cigarette market in Brazil is still on the margins of the law, there's no clear regulation, so we are, more than usual, at the mercy of market laws. Few vendors selling quality stuff for a high price on the Internet.
But, you know, we have the world's most expensive iPhone, the world's most expensive corolla, so why not the most expensive e-cig stuff, right? Heh

Amen my man! I started with cig-a-likes a few months ago, then to a vape Pen, then a joyetech egrip. Just received my new setup, a sigelei 30w mini and kanger tech subtank mini today and oh my god this is so much better then anything I've vaped. And my pops has a 150w sigelei with subtank and this setup is much more enjoyable. How I lived without a legit box mod I'll never know.

In the juice department we're not as bad, I can buy most halo flavors at any nic level for like $23 a 30ml bottle and some nicoticket and five pawns for that same price point.
There are dekangs and hansengs for $10 and some other guys make custom juices for even less.
I myself stick with halo, because at least it's usa made and has, as I understand, good quality control. I don't want to vape something I don't know in which conditions it was made.
