I'm really getting into my iClear 30 even though I didn't like it at first. I find it produces better vapor than my bottom coils like my protanks. I got some new heads for it today and filled it with Boba's and am really enjoying a good vape. Only problem is the tank is plastic. I'd like to invest in another tank that's similar to it, but that has a glass tank. What are my options?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind knowing, either.

Sometimes I really like the warm vape of a top coil without all the bother of wrapping a coil or priming a carto.

I bought one once that claimed to be glass but it leaked out the windows. The dumb things were GLUED IN to a metal tube! Ripoff!

Interesting question! i dont think ibe ever seen a glass tank top coil clearo. And im a big fan of top coils clearos (including the iClear30S) myself.

Maybe get a vivi nova and one of those metal tanks for it? its not glass, but at least it wont crack.

If all else fails, and you dont mind diving into rebuildables, i hear nothing but great things about the Kraken genesis style tank. Its top coil (genesis), and its tank is made of glass.

Hey EvilZoe, long time no see, great to see you, how are you? My coil in the iClear has lasted ever since I bought it maybe a month or two ago, a lot longer than the tiny bottom coils do. I like that. I probably could have still used the old one for a while longer too but figured I'd pop in a new one just to have a fresh vape. There's also an odd taste that develops with bottom coils that I don't get with the iClear. I don't know what it is. It's sort of a funk taste, sort of like the way a dirty wet rag smells.

Hmmm, interesting advice, I'll look into the viva nova. I do have an RBA, an AGA, but I can never really get it to wick right and I'm not master yet at rebuilding so definitely looking for something simpler.

What's the best place to get a viva nova and a metal tank do you think??

The basic top coils have far more wicking to coil ratio and that might make a difference somehow. Heck, I don't know...lol

I just think my Nicoticket CLS tastes far better in a top coil clearo. I haven't vaped it in quite a while, though.

Also I've had no problems with the iClear leaking, most of my protanks leak all over the battery out the bottom, and also the bottom coils flood if you don't use them for a while, where as the only way you really flood the top coil is if you fill it too much.

I don't have the issues with the ProTank leaking and I dilute my juices quite a bit with PG, but I DO like how the different coils setups work with different juices.

If you like the way the iclear30 hits, you may want to look into the vfate tank. It's a dual coil pyrex vivi nova, essentially. I just bought one of the dual coil heads for it and tossed in my vivi tank, and it's hitting pretty comparable to the iclear30. I think I am going to get one, since the new iclear pyrex is a bottom coil, and I have had less than stellar experiences with bottom coils.

THIS has resolved ALL my issues with bottom coils on Kanger and other products that use Kanger bottom coils of any sort.

Well, the iClears are dual-coil devices (one coil on top, one on the bottom); they tend to produce more vapor and require more wattage to perform well. ViVi Novas are true top-coil devices, but they only have one heating coil. So you have to figure out first what it is about the iClears that you like--the fact that one of the coils is on top or the the fact that is comes with two coils. :)

If you like the dual-coil setup, try an Aspire ET-S (eGo threaded) or a Nautilus (huge 510 threaded topper). But their coils are placed on the bottom of the tank, hence their name (BDC--bottom dual coil).

Weird. I have a 3.5ml Vivi Nova that came with one of my MVP's and it won't work on the P. Someone at a B&M told me that I needed and adaptor for it but I don't know what kind. Any links to what I need for it??

Some ViVi Novas have airflow issues on a ProVari. It's a known problem. Sometimes unscrewing the Nova just a bit to allow for more airflow will fix the problem--sometimes it won't. If it doesn't, you may try getting a 510>510 adapter.

ok, just ordered viva nova 2.5 with extra metal tank from got vapes, it was all under $20 including shipping, thanks, i haven't ordered any vape mail in a while so now i'm psyched.

Good pick, I'm assuming you ordered the genuine Vision model? I have five of them, and rebuild the coils repeatedly. (can you tell I like top-coils?...) The Vision tanks I have, the plastic is one that doesn't crack, even with flavors that have cracked other lesser tanks.
