Hi Katya, sorry to contradict you, but for clarity, the iclears do not have a coil on top and another in the bottom, both coils are at the top, one place just under the other perpendiculary.

You're not really contradicting me. :) But I could have described the design better, I agree.

For even more clarity:

Don't understand the bottom coil haters. For top coil fans... don't you get tired of lifting your PV all the time to keep the wicks wet? Yes, I do think BCC's flood a lot more but I don't miss the balancing.

I like them both but in a selective manner. For top coil the only one I like and go back to is the Kanger T2. For bottom coil I much prefer the Aspire BDC over ones like the Kanger and iClear which have the exposed wicks. I had nothing but issues with the Kanger t3.

For the OP Aspire is n now making a Pyrex version of the Vivi Nova. You could try a top coil Vivi Nova base and top on that tanks and see if it works. I know the Aspire ET can be swapped out with their new Pyrex tank.
Oh darn! Just ordered five more Vivi Novas the other day! I like a top coil, never had a leaking problem with the Vivi. Easy to rebuild...but I wanted a glass tank. Have the replacement metal tanks. Also use a Kayfun clone, Aga T2, IGO L, and a POS ProTank 2..and cartos..and clearos...When will it end?????????/

I have some (clone?) mini vivi novas and the Aspire tanks are shorter.

i have the genuine visionnova's and they are the exact same length as my Aspire Nova pyrex tanks, although compatibility is not only determined by the length of the tank, but the diameter and the threading also. Will report back when i have tried.

I got a couple of the Pyrex Vivi Nova V-Fates from SweetVapes. I have two of these in silver and I like them, except for the dual coil wicks that come with them do not taste good. It's not the fault of this exact tank though, I don't like silica wicks in any tank. Silica wicks give me a dry sore throat.

I made a modification for all my Vivi Nova tanks. I use the single coil head. I drill a 1/8 inch hole at the very bottom of the wick slot on each side. When I recoil it, I wrap a coil with the same drill bit, I line the coil up so you can see through the hole, center of coil, and through other hole. I then thread organic cotton wick through it and let it drape down on both sides. This allows me a quick wick change without recoiling all the time. This way you can pull out old wick, dry burn clean the coil, and insert new wick for a fresh start. It seems I like all the dark juices that clog up wicks and this is a great solution to that!

I've tried silica, eko-wool, ceramic and stainless steel wicks. Stainless steel is okay, but takes a lot of time and you have to torch it so it doesn't short.

The drill hole mod and organic cotton wick produces a lot of vapor and best flavor yet for all my Vivi Nova tanks. This method makes the Vivi Nova tank come really close to being as good as my Kayfun 3.1 as well.

Just so that everyone will know what I am talking about... Some of you have already seen them, some not...

Here is the v-fate, essentially a pyrex vivi nova dual coil (the one that comes with the e-fire, and can be purchased separately)

I have two of these. Nice tanks, but I bought them knowing I was going to rebuild them with single coil heads. To be honest I dislike the stock heads, dual or single.
