Hi
I'm new here and started vaping in nov with v2 cigs. because of prefilled cart issues I started looking for a way to fill my own and want a low maintenance solution. I do not want to burn polyfill and have been looking at the ce2 carts for my kr808d-1 but have been made aware of leaking etc... issues with those.
My main priorities are thick vapor and most of all flavor-I like some throat hit but don't need my head blown off-used to smoke marlboro lights. I like the ego for all the versatility- I am somewhat confused and overwhelmed by what to start with-someone suggested the 510 tank atty and tank cart but I was thinking of the 510 ce2 carto so I would not have an issue with mixing flavors on the atty. I have heard there are problems with the plastic clear ones but what about the stainless ce2's?
Any advice would be gratefully accepted and if someone has a better alternative would love to hear it.
Not a heavy vaper but want it to work well and reliably and have some options
Thanks Guys

I am in the same boat as you. Got a rn4081 by one of those well marketed brands like blue and greensmoke that looked like a cig and I was really dissatisfied with it. Got it in the mail two days ago and was wanting to buy another pack of smokes until I found an e-cig store online. E-Cig City Laguna Beach (shout out) The guy working there had me try the eGo 650MAH BATT manual with an atomizer and drip tip. I was blown away and bought it with some e liquid. I like being able to drip it in every time I want to vape too. It is kind of ritualistic like using a lighter to fire up a cigarette. It produces about three times the vapor with that set up. All the liquid there was made up of 30:70 pg to vg. It still has good throat hit and creates a ton of vapor. My wife had to open a window in our car on the way home. I am really new at all this and know there are probably other things out there that are amazing but I am totally satisfied. Was smoking Kool Milds two days ago and not even looking back now. So from my little knowledge go with the attomizer and drip tip and forget the cartomizers. Just got to carry the little bottle of liquid around wherever you are going to vape.

Might I suggest the Boge cartos or the smoktech dual coil cartos? They do well. Relatively inexpensive (less than $15 for 5) so you can run around with a few loaded with different juices (nailpolish apparently is a good marker for cartos).

I personally didn't like that tanks. Just a caveat if you're going to use them, stick with juice that is 30% or less vg. Too much vg and the juice is too thick to wick down from the tank. Well, not "TOO" thick, just a little too slow for comfort for people here.

If I was starting over, this is the eGo KIT I would get! Also add a pack of THESE.

I did a review on the dual coil cartos HERE.

K
is this authentic?
so what's the deal with clones -all the different ego accessories still fit right?
and what about quality - are the authentic ones better quality?
don't mind paying slightly more but if the button's gonna pop off anyway might as well go cheap as possible.
what volt battery is that?
one other thing are all the chargers for the ego compatible with all the ego batteries or are the chargers specific to the individual battery?
would there be anything else I would need with it?

thanks so much for responding I am really anxious to get one in my hands:vapor:

I suggest the eGo or Riva 510 kit with Boge brand cartomizers. I'm not a fan of ce2's. They aren't terrible but to get a great vape, you have to tinker with them. I just got tired of all the fooling around and gave them up. Boge and dual coils are great cartomizers. One other vendor that has fantastic cartos is Ikenvape.com. Isaac's mega 510 cartos are the best around but not always easy to get. Try the Boge first and go from there.

K-go (ego clone) is amazing. Breezesmokes has them for $40. 1100 mAh batts. I paid $5 more from another supplier. I give them a beating lending to friends and using personally. K-go should be labeled Most Powerful, Long-Lasting Non Mod Ecig for Dummies at an Unbelivable Price. If you're brand new, fill a boge or low resistance dual coil carto, attach and vape all day or maybe two. It challenges mods on performance with a low resistance 306 atty. Never shopped with this vendor but good experiences with all ECF suppliers. Just my 2 cents with what's on the market now.

is this authentic?
As far as I know.

Yes.

I've had no issues with the various eGo type equipment.

See my previous answer.
what volt battery is that?
3.4 ±.2 VDC
one other thing are all the chargers for the ego compatible with all the ego batteries or are the chargers specific to the individual battery?
As long as the charger is rated for 450 mA with 510 threads, you're GTG.
would there be anything else I would need with it?
For now:
E-juice

Later:
Extra eMDCCartos
Another batt for back up
Pass through (PT) if you spend any extended time at your 'puter

I hope this helps you.
