So I determined that my e cig IS in fact 510 threaded, so I went out yesterday and bought a 510 atomizer and drip tip because ive heard how much better the flavor, vapor and throat hit is supposed to be... Well I put the atomizer on my battery, put tye drip tip on and dripped 4 drops of my favorite 24mg juice (coffee flavor) into the drip tip and then I tryed to vape it and I got juice in my mouth (yuck). I dont know what im doing wrong and I'm extremely nervous about my battery getting juice onto it and then it will be ruined! Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks for reading!!!

between here and there
Hello,
There is more to dripping than you would think. Can you tell us about what type of battery you have? If it is a manual(has a button to push) then it is sealed and juice cannot get 'into' the bat.
New attys usually are shipped with a primer fluid that needs to be blown out. Hold a tissue to the batt end and blow thru. That stuff is nasty. Attys usually take a couple of days to really get seasoned or broke in. .

:)

There's a lot of cheap drip tips out there, and a lot of them have openings that are just plain too small; the consequence is that juice becomes trapped at the choke point and gets sucked back into your mouth.

There's none finer than this one, which was engineered with that specific problem in mind: Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products.

One other thing: the innards of new atomizers are coated with a primer, put there to resist corrosion; it may do that, but it doesn't taste good if vaped. Be sure to blow a new atty out very forcibly before using.

Which end do you blow in, the side that attaches to the battery or the side that the drip tip goes in?

Thats funny I usually just vape it away - I dont inhale to my lungs just into my mouth and blow out - depending on where you buy the attys from kinda depends how it tastes.I have found though if I dont do this when I start a new atty it won't give me as much vapour - perhaps it's a little flooded... I always use standard 510 attys, they seem to give me the best performance.
