Hi there, so i finally decided to give dripping a shot. Problem is, nothing that I got seems to fit properly and the atomizer itself leaks like crazy... The drip shield I got does not fit over the atomizer (properly) nor do any of the drip tips fit in the atomizer or the shield. I realize that I am new but can't imagine that I placed a totally wrong order or that I am just too stupid to figure this out, okay second comment is possible. Links to the things I got below:

Atomizer: 510 LR Bridgeless Atomizer
Shield: 510/901 Drip Shields
Various tips: Ceramic Vase and Transparent Ming Vase

Am I doing something totally wrong here? The devices I'm attempting to use these on are an MVP v2 and an ego twist. Any advice towards happy dripping would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I think one of the "fit" issues is you're missing a 510 to 510 adapter. Those 510 atomizers are just a hair too short to get a drip tip on fully with the drip shield installed. Otherwise, you should be good to go.

How much liquid are you dripping into the atomizer? Keep in mind that there's no fill in one of those, so just a few drops is sufficient.

When I use one, I'll usually drip about five drops into the atomizer off the battery, wait a second or two, then I'll blow it out from the battery end with a tissue paper or rag covering the drip tip end to catch excess juice, then add two or three drops when it starts to dry out. Any more than that, it's gonna leak all over the place.

Your links appear to be spam.

I think that's actually an ECF thing to generate a little revenue.

Whelp, as far as the amount of juice being dripped I am only doing 3-5 drops but it is getting everywhere and gurggling like crazy.

As far as the adapter goes that seems a bit silly but I'll definitely grab one of those. Just think, I was going to try my luck with rebuildables heh.

Is there any 'dripping atomizer' that is a bit more advanced than these but also in the 15-20 buck range that won't need rebuilding and can just be tossed out once it's trough?

Five drops is a LOT for one of those atomizers. Too much. Next time you get the gurgling, take it off, and blow through it from the battery end to get rid of the excess, and try vaping it again without adding more juice. I think you might be pleasantly surprised.

Silly but necessary if you're going to use a drip shield. You don't 100% need to use a drip shield, but it makes things a bit less messy.

Gotta start somewhere!

Sort of - you could always get a handful of cartomizers. They're basically the same technology as those atomizers, but they also contain a fill material that will hold juice - some I think are advertised as having 1.5 - 2 ml capacity (I think, going from damaged memory) so you fill them up, vape, and top them off when they start to dry out. They're not too pricey (maybe $1.50 a piece if you buy them in quantity) and will usually handle above 20 ml of juice before they get too gunked up to use anymore (I have one right now that has almost 30 ml run through it without signs of slowing down).

Lol!!

But I did what you said and blew through it then vaped, yes, pleasantly surprised thanks man!

So from here on out maybe just call it 2 drops until it's... Well, that's another question; how do you know when more needs to be added? Bad taste? Little vapor? Be smart???

Thanks for the advice.

You are most welcome.
As to knowing when to add more, it's a combination of all three. You'll get a feel for knowing when to add because vapor will drop off and flavor will get dry and possibly nasty depending on how dry you let it get.
