Am I doing this wrong? Dripping

I thought that dripping generally provided better TH, flavor and vapor. My riva came today and the first thing I did to taste my juices was attach the drip tip and drip several drops onto the atomizer. The following puffs in this way almost completely lacked vapor, and had little TH, but the flavor was there.

I put the juice in a cart instead and attached it to the Riva and it was a LOT better - full TH and vapor. Do some juices just not work well when dripped?

Maybe you dripped too much. If the atty is flooded it will produce little vapor and TH. Try blowing the atty out and putting less drops in on that initial drip. Dripping takes a little practice to figure out exactly how much to drip and when, but once you've got that down it's great

Also there may have still been primer which will greatly reduce dripping until its completely gone.

I use 306 with a tip works good for trying new flavors and fits a 510 connecter. I have dripped on other attys not as good or taste

When the flavor and vapor is off it's usually an atomizer over-fill. Take off the atomizer, blow into a tissue, re-attach, drip 2 drops and you're set for a few nice pulls. Depending on the size of your drops 2 usually will do it for a nice little session or 3. When priming a brand new atty it takes more.

If your atty is new it's great that happened. The machine oil is nasty tasting. Nice equipment Dripping is the best vape experience I'm aware of - clean, pure and wonderful. Takes a bit of patience but worth it. Have fun.

my sweet spot with dripping is lr 306 cisco attys, drip 2 drops, vape a bit, drip 2 more drops. I've never had good luck with more than 2 and obviously not less than 2 drops

Remember too, not all drops are created equal. The dropper top on the bottle, and the pg/vg ratio can make a difference there.

Just wanted to report back that I was putting too much... switched to 2 drops and big difference. I wasn't prepared and really hurt my throat, haha.

I was putting 4-5 before!
