What am I doing wrong?

Well I put the lead through the hole of the cap, and I got really really weird readings. First 3.9, then 4.4, then 4.9, then 5.5

I said **** it and fired it. It fired, and then read 1.3, so I thought I was good. Then it stopped firing. So now I'm at square one hahah

That's progress, it points to that leg touching the side somewhere when it's in position between the cap and the grommet. When you put it through the center hole you moved it enough to get it off the side, but the connection is loose, so the ohms will be all over the map.

Maybe it wasn't making a good connection either.. May not have been a short, just incomplete circuit.

This makes me extremely happy as its my first coil lol.

I'm going to make another coil and see what happens.

Make sure you have the head twisted snug into a base before you test it. I use old evod bases... I have them because I save everything!
Hey, at least kanthal is cheap (or niacrome, if that's what your using.. Lol)

So this is actually pretty nice. It was taking a while to heat up on 4.3v but I changed to 11w and it's working beautifully now. I like it

Just for giggles, I put it on my Vamo, and Cranked it to 15w. WOW!! Amazing flavor, and no dry hits. I'm going to really like recoiling

I did my first coil yesterday... loving it.

I put a chimney coil in a pt... Not the best Vape, but I am not sure if I put enough or too much cotton in... It's also not something that would be easy to rewick... I'll probably stick with the standard compressed coil in the pt.

Should be getting my rbas today.. Enough of the pt rebuilds! Haha
