What am i missing?

Now I know I have only been vaping a few days. The urge for an analog is getting stronger and stronger. I really really really dont want one but I do. Are all those other chemicals in those nasty tar sticks really so addicting or is it physiological. This morning on my paper route I had to break out 2 of my 510s and chain vape like mad. The atty on one was getting two hot so I decided i needed to tag team myself. I went through my juice so fast it was unreal. Finally after about 10 minutes the urge went away but I took in way to much nicotine and got all blurry eyed and stuff... Is this all mind over matter or is my body withdrawing from something...

I am only getting urges this strong about once a day and its on the same damn part of my route... I did use to have two cigs chain smoked at this section of the route so maybe my body is just remembering old times. Damn the mind is powerful!

Exactly, just use a stronger mg of nic for those hard to handle moments. For me, I had a 901, and the throat hit was just not strong enough, so I would crave an analog. But I was already doing 24mg.

I have a 510 now, and have no issues at all. Much better throat hit. Maybe you should consider one of the many mods available for those moments. That and change your route a bit. Just mix it up, maybe go backwards... It's the ritual of doing things the same for so many years that has you stuck. Change it up!

That is a good idea drive my route backwords. I am going to order some 36 nic juice because my 24 really does not seem to cutting anyways. Thank goodness payday for the route is tomorrow because I need this stuff like NOW. Thank you guys this is what I love about forums we can talk about our troubles... And get suggestions that help us out.

I think part of it is also the fact that as humans we want what we can't have. If you are telling yourself you can't have a cig you want it more. Instead tell yourself you can have one, you just have to vape for a few mins first. And put the cigs in a different room from where you're going to be, or if you are driving stick them in the trunk or something. If you want one bad enough to actually stop what you are doing and go get them, then have one. I put all of my cig stuff in different parts of the house ( cigs in one room, lighter in another and ashtray in another) and kept my e-cig right with me. There was never a time when laziness didn't win. I'd say "I'll get up in a few and get them, but I'll vape for now." A few hours later I'd realize I'd never gotten up to go get the cigs. For once being a couch/computer potato helped my health :).

Keep doing what you're doing - it still beats cigs by far. Vapes do give less nicotine hit for hit so you will have to take more puffs to satisfy cravings.

I see you are at the 5 day mark (according to your sig). Ah the memories! I was the same at that time, having occasional cravings, sometimes intense. Keep it up! At some point before quitting, I realized that 1 cigarette is too many and 1000 cigarettes is not enough. It just never ends! I been on 24mg for a while now, though ive uped it from time to time to 36mg in stressful times in the past month. Feels so much better now, and old triggers for a cigarette only make me want to vape more now. Ive forgotten how a cigarette tastes now, also forgot how it feels, but I remember that before I forgot these things, they were what made me switch to vaping exclusively.

I am down to vaping 16mg as my regular vape but there are times when that just won't do. I keep a couple of bottles of Puresmoker 36mg in my stash for those tough times. I can vape 2-3 drops and then I'm alright. I've been vaping since April and I still get the urge when my pain is really bad or the hubby aggravates me. Out comes the Cash Cap 36mg and I'm good to go. If you do end up having a cig, don't worry about it. At least you aren't smoking all the time anymore. It WILL get easier as you go.
