I just can't get a carto to last more than a day no matter what I do. I've posted threads before and been through all the trouble shooting. I pre fill my cartos, let them soak add more, tried more holes in the cartos, larger holes, tried boges, kangers and dual coil etc etc. For some reason after a day on a fresh carto I lose all flavour and start to get a burnt taste. I've only had ONE single carto that lasted a whole week and it was awesome. But, I did nothing different with that carto so I'm not sure what the magic was there.

Having said all that, what is the best option for trouble free vaping(if there is one) other than cartos and tanks? I hate dripping and want to be able to have at least 2ml of juice at a time so I'm not constantly topping anything off. And no more hassle. I just want something that works. Is there anything out there.

Right now I'm using a lava tube and carto/tank system. I usually vape 70pg/30vg juice. It would be nice to still make use of the LT instead of buying all new gear.
What can I do?
Thanks!!!

Ok thanks. Those are options to consider. When I said 2 ml though, I mean at an absolute minimum. I have tried CE2s and got a burnt taste with no flavor.

Don't some people use some sort of atty and tank system? Or am I crazy? Or both?
I think I just kind of need some sort of tank to be content with vaping. Constantly carrying around a bottle to top off at work is not feasible.

Might look into one of the many bottom feeder mods then.

Sounds like the CE2/s you tried might have had the cup pinching off the wicks. Sometimes you have to fiddle with CE2's but to me they are worth it because when they work right the flavor comes through. Also they last and last with dissembling/cleaning/burning them off..I have some CE2's I've been using since late last summer. Below is my VV tube with a slotted 2.5ohm CE2 in a tank..I vaped that 5/6ml tank down (cotton candy) from just over 3/4 full to what's in the pic in half a day at 4-4.2v :D

The problems you describe make me think it's the juice you're using. If you are using a dark juice or a very sweet juice, you'll have problems with carto's. What exactly are you vaping?

It's been every kind of juice imaginable. Straight pg. PG/VG mix, dark, light. Different vendors and flavors. All of it. And I've made about 3 threads already trying to figure out what may be wrong but no one has suggested anything I'm not doing already of haven't tried. It MUST be me somehow, I just can't figure it out. I've done it all. I would LOVE to just get 2 days out of a carto, but I can't and after a few months of trying, what else can I do?

i get something kinda similar but nowhere near as extreme. I can just get absolutely sick of a carto, be convinced that it's underperforming and needs to be binned. I just leave it aside for a day or two, then when I pick it up again whatever notions I had of it needing dumping are gone and I'm able to vape away on it for a while longer

have you tried your day old cartos again at a later date? maybe put them aside for a couple of days and go back to see if maybe it's all in your head? 1 day per carto for all brands and types of cartos is just incredible, it has to be something incredibly basic but so basic there's just no way you're going to notice it.

have you tried altering how you draw on the carto? maybe you're dragging on them too long so they're all getting a bit burnt as the day goes on..
nothing I said will probably help but.. hopefully it does and hopefully you figure it out, that's gotta be annoying as hell.

try filling your cartos with a syringe. its likely that your filling method is leaving dry spots, thus the burnt taste. its either that or your waiting too long in between top offs. for me, after a few hours of vaping, i top off. but im not a heavy vaporizer. some folks may need to top off every hour, or more. to me toppijg of fis not a big deal...its only squeezing a few drops. if topping off is a PITA for you, try a tank. lots of folks seem to love the tanks.

Nope, your not crazy. I use these and they work flawlessly.

No leaks at all. They hold about 25 drops of ejuice. Make sure to get the ones with the white gel silicone (soft plastic) end piece like in the pic above. I've heard of leakage problems with the hard plastic end piece units. Use these tank cartridges with a tank atomizer (the atomizer has a spiked post that pierces the interior of the silicone portion of the cartridge). Easy to fill, easy to use, the cartridge lasts forever, and they are super convenient.

    Here's where I got mine ----> Electronic Cigarette - Cartridges - GOLD 510-T

    Good luck to you

you might not want to hear this.. but try pure, unflavored juice and see what happens. I don't know if you diy or not but it's easy to mix and many here do vape it all the time. If nothing else, just use it in one carto and see what happens. I used to love TV waffles but could never get more than one good day. I now diy my juice (most of it anyway) and use very little flavor and I can get a carto to last a week or more. KBV warm sugar cookie is also very carto friendly, I can get a week out of a carto using it and it is pretty heavily sweetened.
