What are the best tobacco e-liquids

I'm new to all this and just got a new 510. The e-liquid that came with it is USA Mix 14mg and tasts really bad. I am a smoker of 2 packs of Marlboro lights a day for years looking to quit with the help of e-cigs. Could anyone recommend a tobacco flavored e-liquid that works for them. Not much into the special flavoring, just a good tobacco flavor. Thank you in advance.

I smoked Marlboro lights for 15 years, I've only been vaping for about a month so I'm pretty new to this and haven't come close to trying everything that's out there but I've been enjoying Totally Wicked's Marlboro in 24mg. Cowboy from Vapor4Life is good too, ordered some more today after the tobacco sampler pack. Two days after getting my 510 and TW Marlboro I dumped the analogs. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply Adam_S. I have been reading great reviews on Tasty Vapor's tobacco flavor but they are out of stock. I will give TW and V4L a try. A few other members said they liked USA Mix, but I already know it will not work for me. If anyone else has any suggestions please let me know. This is a great forum, even though I just signed up today I have been reading it for months. Purchased the 510 after good reviews and believe it will work great once I find the right juice for my taste. Thanks again to everyone in advance who takes the time to reply!

This sure is the question of the day!

My Freedom Smokes has excellent e-juices. Parliament is the cleanest, most tobacco-like juice I've had so far, but "tobacco flavor" means different things to different people... even when they used to smoke the same brands. Here's my two cents worth:

  • Parliament - not sweet - great throat hit and flavor
  • Virginia - flue-cured, slightly sweet
  • Winston - tastes very tobacco-like
  • 555 - tobacco with a peanut-like taste
  • RY4 - tobacco with a vanilla/caramel taste
  • Cuban Cigar - tastes just like a cigar or a *really* strong cig
I've never tried Marlboro e-juices but I understand that the menthol varieties, like V4L's Cowboy Menthol, are excellent.

Hope this helps.

If you are looking to find something that taste just like a cig, I'm sorry to say you may never find it. What you may find that it's not necessary to have that tobacco flavor of a cig to drop the cigs. I was looking for the same thing when I realized, I like this or I like that..... The rest is history. I would recommend getting some sampler packs of e-juice of flavors you think you might like to get started, then you haven't invested a whole lot.

Good Luck! Welcome to the forum.

A little while ago I posted my thoughts on '"tobacco" flavors in another thread. The only way I can tell if it tastes like tobacco is to set it on fire. While there are a lot of good flavors called "tobacco", I really have no way of knowing. Throw in a wet-down ashtray and I'll know what it is :).

With all the flavor choices to get your nicotine in, why would you want it tobacco flavored? As a Newport smoker, I tried a few menthol/tobacco flavors. I am completely content with the regular mint flavored juice and the Nuport flavored juice. No it doesn't taste like Newports, not even close, but the more I vape, the more I realize I don't like tobacco flavor. Even my real Newports taste too tobacco flavored now..

Thanks for everyone that replied. I have been vaping on the USA Mix for two days and now know why I'm not a big fan of it. The taste really resembles a sweet cigar or pipe smoke. I know I will not find the exact taste of an analog but if I can score a juice closer to a cig than a cigar, this may very well work for me. Got a list to try thanks to you all. The 510 is working very well. Could not have made a more informative purchase without this forum. Hoping to stop the analogs soon but I'm only smoking about half as much so I'll take it.

That's easy...because I love the tast of tobacco! I'm sure I will experiment later, but right now this is the taste I crave. I have never liked menthol or been a sweet tooth, and I realize I will have to compromise. That's ok! Just need to find the right taste for me. Thanks for the reply!

Like you, I started out wanting only tobacco flavors - mostly Parliament, Virginia and 555. Sometimes that's just what hits the spot.

It only took a month or so before I began to broaden my horizons and vape coffee, fruit and other flavors. Now, I rarely touch the tobacco flavors.

But in the beginning I had to have them, so I understand.

Just to let you know.. I wouldn't base my opinion on flavors on what you get in most pre-filled carts. I have yet to find a pre-filled cart I could tolerate, with the exception of ECOpure Regular, but I have found some bottles of liquid that had the same name as what was in those pre-filled carts to be things I liked.

Don't forget to stick a filter on it too. A lot of people don't seem to realize just how much of that "tobacco" taste was determined by the filter. A lesson I learned all to well many years ago when doing the whole roll your own thing.

"Tobacco" -like flavors that I really like:

RY4 - tobacco+caramel+? - almost everyone likes RY4
555 - tobacco with a nutty flavor
DK-TAB - strong, rich tobacco flavor, just a hint of nuttiness
Hilton - i don't really know how to describe this, but it's good.

I love all three of these flavors. There are many others.

Thanks for understanding my addiction phase. Could not have said it better myself...Coffee is already sounding good!

I smoked about the same as you. With e-juices, DK-TAB is what really did it for me 100%, but I also like Marlboro (I've tried several), DK-Camel and DK-Winston. There is also a good one called Virginia, which to me has the strongest tobacco absolute flavor (not necessarily the strongest burning tobacco flavor).

edit: I also like RY4, but to me it's probably not what you're looking for. It's a bit sweet.

I have tried most of the popular tobacco flavors out there and have settled on RY4 24mg as my all day vape, for now...

It's good to find other flavors that you like, as well. Vaping the same thing all the time can burn you out on a great flavor! I almost did that with TV Butter Rum from Tasty Vapor, and that would have been a tragedy, because it's SO darn good!

When I used a 510 i couldnt get enough Johnson Creek Original Tobacco! That and Hilton seemed to work for me.

with my KR808d-1... i prefer 555.

And as far as i know, USA mix is the same as Marlboro flavor. please correct me if im wrong. another go to flavor on my 808.

keep in mind that as you kick the cigs, your taste buds will change, so dont toss out a flavor because it doesnt taste good today. you may love it later!
