What are the different methods to clean out a CE4

Just got my ego kit yesterday and Im getting a weird taste from all the juice in the CE4s im using.. Just would like to know all the ways I could go about cleaning them out..

You can boil all the parts but I'm guessing what you are tasting is the plastic from the tanks. Glass/pyrex tanks don't have that funky taste.

Hot water rinse, vodka/alcohol soak, hot water rinse, dry if desired, should remove most residues that would effect flavor. Generally a good idea to thoroughly clean any new heads/clearo's.

remove mouthpiece, and with bend paperclip remove the silicone cap and metal "grommet". fill with HOT water, cover top and bottom with finger and tumb,and shake, repeat several times. do a "thermometer shake" to remove as much water as you can. then do a dry burn till coil burns red. put silicone cover with metal gromet back on and fill with juice, replace mouthpiece.

he doesn't remove the silicone cap but I did so I could see coil
