Sorry for the dumb question. . . but what do you mean?!

I suspect he means no power regulation but, I could be wrong. I don't know of any that have power regulation that aren't VV but, I could be wrong about that too. :)

The biggest downside to bottom feeders is that it takes a little practice to get using them right. There are a couple variations in models you need to be aware of when you're shopping. Some won't work with an adapter. That matters to me because I use 901s. Some are tilt and shoot (You have to tilt the atomizer down to feed it.) which I don't care for. Some aren't.

No disadvantages here! I don't own a rio or woody but my 5v luicy juicy bottom feeder is a top notch performer for me.

great bladder feed system, super clean internals, solid horn switch (5amp) and hits like a train with a 3 ohm boge.

it's my understanding it is outfitted with an LM1084 5A fixed linear regulator at 5v. I may be wrong but there is definately a well constructed chip set engineered into the box below the batteries.

Oh! Great price too!

got a boggers mini BF on it's way too looking forward to the vape mail

I am sorry, English is not my first language, what does squonking means?

You already got your answer but, really squonking is a made up word. It's part of the vaping lexicon but, I wouldn't say it's part of the English lexicon. So, no apologies necessary.

As was said previously, it's the act of squeezing the juice up from the bottle and there is a learning curve with it.

on disadvantage i can think of is with big bottles like 9ml of the VMODXL, the juice travels to the atty when you squonk and the access is sucked back to the bottle. but when the bottle is so big the juice gets dirty over time and changes the taste.

so i think better to take smaller bottle mods.

IMHO.

It wouldn't matter what size bottle you put in it.... It will still happen.... You just need to learn how to freshen that juice back to life....

I've got a Reo Grand the only disadvantage I can see, flooding won't be an issue once you have your squonking certificate...lol , but seriously for me it's the weight and bit of bulk, heavy in a shirt pocket, so make sure it's buttoned or snapped closed, don't wanna bend over and have it fall to the ground, or into the toilet. I recentley alleviated that issue by getting a cheapo cell phone pouch at the flea market that clips on my jeans. Keep in mind I have the Reo Grand that is a bit bigger and heavier than most, quite a bit lighter without the battery, but it won't work to good without it.

I have recently bought an old goat bottom feeder and I love it, I am thinking of upgrading to VBox but since I have little experience with Bottom feedesr, I decided to ask about the down sides of these devices?

You can't own just one! :thumb:

Some could say -- It's not a tube mod.
Some could say -- I don't like wood. (many BF's are hand crafted using wood)
Perhaps the biggest--It's not the latest greatest invention in the E-Cig world (But it sure is a very good one, imho :) )

Where's the OP? Have you made a decision on your next apv?
