I diluted the 3 I originally asked about per Britt's recommendations (posted in this thread).
I've used them a few times but not enough to feel I can give a good opinion of them. Maybe Debb can.
Sorry Lynda, I know that's not much help. I hope to get back to more DIY mixing after the Holidays to try them more in depth.

I've not used them much either...however I added the Acetyl Pyrazine to a few recipes....you can taste a difference....some recipes are sharper....enhances flavor...etc..I just added it (diluted) a drop at a time and taste......works well with graham cracker, breads such as ban bread, bb muffin...etc...hth

That one kinda confuses me. Isn't there a post somewhere by RedGirl saying she uses it in all of her mixes? (Or did when she was mixing)
I'll see if I can find it, but if my memory is correct it was in a post about her CinnaPear. IDK. Kinda made me think it can be used even in fruit mixes.

I have a lot of experimenting to do during the upcoming cold months stuck inside. LOL.

ETA: Snipit..OP RedGirl
I always add menthol drops, sucralose, and acetyl pyrazine now to my stuff. Usually only 1 menthol drop to add throat hit. Sometimes I'll add cotton candy instead of more sucralose or add some of Capella's gingerbread.

I also got linalool and trimethyl pyrazine from PA. The acetyl, trimethyl, & linalool are all ingredients in some common liquids like TV, vaporstation, Dekang, etc.

IDK if that helps, but there it is. LOL. It's the post that originally got me interested in the molecules.

On trimethyl pyrazine ... it comes in a 10% solution and should be used at concentrations no greater than 80ppm.

Lets make it so that each drop is 10ppm in a 10ml solution. That way, 8 drops would be the maximum used and you'd have a lot of room to play.

So ... we want each drop of our final solution to contain ... 10gx10/1,000,000 = .0001 g of Trimethyl Pyrazine.

As it comes, each drop of the 10% solution contains .004 g.

A 6ml container would need to contain a total of .0001 g/drop X 25 drops/ml X 6 ml = .015g

.015g/.004g per drop = 4 drops

So, add 4 drops of this to a 6 ml container, fill it the rest of the way with PG and shake well. Each drop will amount to 10ppm in a 10ml batch of e-juice, so you can use up to 8 drops.

So if I am looking at this correctly and using a mini-dropper where 50 drops = 1ml, the Guaiacol which is a 1% solution used up to 2ppm. The following should be a good starting point to make 1 drop = 1ppm in a 10ml solution.

each drop of final solution - 10gx1/1000000 = .00001
each drop of the 1% solution - .01/50 = .0002
6ml solution needs - .00001 g/drop x 50 drops/ml x 6ml = .003g

.003/.0002g per drop = 15 drops

So, adding 15 drops of this 1% solution to a 6ml container filled w/ PG should be my new solution such that 1 drop of this new solution in a 10ml mix should give me approx 1ppm, 2 drops would be the max (to attain the 2ppm rate suggested @TPA) in a 10ml batch.

Am I looking at this correctly or did I miss something somewhere?

Someone recently contacted linda and apparently she said that 'she had no idea what people were talking about' and that these did not have to be diluted

FWIW I use AP at about 1 drop/2ml and trimethyl pyrazine at 2 drops/5ml to nice effect.

I haven't managed to make guiaicol do anything for me yet. Added 1 drop to ten ml. Nothing. 2 drops. nothing. Then I got scared I'd wreck my batch and stopped lol.

caryophyllene oxide: I tasted it at 1 drop per 5 ml, and it did not make me happy.
