It took living in Oregon for college (and then some) to realize how locked down ole' Cali is. I don't know about derringers, but it is nearly impossible for me to own the gear I'd ideally want to possess. Things like magazines larger than 10 rounds. And it takes a 30 minute drive or so to go to a range I trust. It's a little meh.

I could not live in a 'locked down' state. I don't do well with being told what I can, and can't buy or do. I don't like ranges, so I always make sure I own enough acreage to shoot on my own property.

When my husband was sick, I took him to a cancer center in Zion Illinois. Talking to the locals there, I realized how lucky I was to grow up in Delaware. I will say though, the people in Zion Illinois were awesome!

There's a big one down in Florida every summer, just google Vapestock for the details. I wanted to make it to this year's, but couldn't swing either the travel expense or getting the time off from work. Maybe next year. For smaller meets, look around to see if there's a group for vapers in your area (here on ECF, Facebook, etc), that's a good way to find out about local meets. That's what this one is. There aren't a whole lot of meets up here, but the New England Vapers group does a monthly one that is sometimes close enough for me to get to

I was born in Nashua but we left when I was like 2 for California.. I remember squat about the place...

Before my hubby got sick, we were looking for property in NH. We had a lot of property in Maine, which was our summer place, and the place we were going to move to. But, Maine started pissing him off with some funky taxes. So, we were considering NH. The whole 'Live Free Or Die' thing was inviting.
