Wow, not too shabby at all! Catch any turkeys recently? :)
Back from my league, this makes two weeks in a row I've set a personal record. My new high (sans handicap) is now 191 :) Not too shabby considering it's been more than a decade since I last bowled more than a couple times a year

Being way excited! I'm going to the Avalanche game tonight. Sweet seat too, 5th row, right in line with the attack zone faceoff circle. It's a rare thing for me.

well either attack zone or defensive end depending on the period as the switch every period. I used to love watching from the balcony seats at the old boston garden they hung over the ice..

While it was a treat for me, I doubt I'll go again. This year they installed a state of the art bigscreen and sound system in our arena. Bigscreen fine. But it was SO DAMN LOUD with music and sound effects that I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted. Louder than any rock concert I've ever been to. I'm even going to write them a letter about it.

Edit: They do allow electronic cigarettes in there. I don't know where you're supposed to vape so I vaped in my seat.
They don't allow knives. I had to throw away my little keychain knife. Duh.

I've never been to an NHL game but have been going to minor league games since I can remember, Dayton Bombers. Had season tickets a few times. I love sitting in a corner that home team attacks twice. Feeling bodies crunch against the boards and glass is great fun. Always more drama the lower you get from the pro's, more fights and dirty players, awesome.

I haven't been to or watched an NHL game since my beloved North Stars moved to Dallas. It knocked the hockey spirit right out of me. (Tho, I still look forward to the HS hockey tournament.)

All praise His Hockey Holiness Lou Nanne.

I felt the same way! My favorite player as a kid was Gump Worsley. It's weird thinking that no one used a helmet back then, even goalies!
