I was under the impression that the Strata would be a standard stock item for the ELA and Simplicity.

I'm also thinking it might be closer than three months.

I also think it will be out quicker than 3 months. I *believe* David said the Simplicity Strata would be a regular stocked item but I can't remember if he said the ELA version would be or not..

Back from being away from ECF due to health problems. Have my shiny shockwave still in the box. Wondering how people like it and if I should hold on to it or not (call me crazy but might be something out there i would trade for). Better open the box--haven't even looked at it yet.

In your absence nothing has really come along that's ShockWave tradable, in my (and many others') opinion. But ShockWaves have fetched large amounts of cash.

Heres a question for all you computer buffs, Okay, I have an old XPS Dell laptop. Been running great for years, but I guess it age is showing. Long story short, the main hard drive died, put a new one in. Working fine.

Then the battery stopped charging. Got a new battery, working great, but now it shows battery is **% but not charging. Did a whole thing to see if the drivers were not working, so I did a whole routine and still , battery is a certain percent but not charging. Now Im going to get a new adapter hoping that it the charger. I hope that its not the actual connection to the motherboard. If it is the connection is that fixable and is it worth it. I can not afford a new "desktop" powered type of laptop at the moment.

Dell XPS's are notorious for motherboard issues..

You more than likely have one of the following:

A corrupt BIOS, a bad charger, or the motherboard needs replaced

Check and update the BIOS to the latest version.

If updating the BIOS does not solve the issue then (easy way to check and see if it's the charger): * works on most XPS's

1) Enter BIOS
2) Disconnect the charger
3) Status changes to none
4) Reconnect the charger
5) Status changes to unknown
= The charger needs to be replaced

If updating the BIOS and / or a new charger does not solve the issue then the motherboard is at fault and you will need a new one as it can't be repaired.

He is one of the true great actors of the age. He and Gary Oldman are some of the few actors who actually seem to "become" the different characters they are playing rather than just being themselves over and over.

Im wondering how there is a Strata for ELA for trade in the classifieds. I guess they wait till Strata comes out? Very odd, I cant see the Strata even being shipped for at least 3 months . Hmmm

Don't have to wonder much longer. I put my ELA strata in the classifieds because I no longer have an ELA to put it on top of at the moment (may change in the future), and it's not a for sale item. It's for trade only and I have a different strata coming for a device I can use it with, pretty simple. So, there you go nothing odd about it, and I put it there for someone in here who has what I'd like in return to know if they missed out, mine is available potentially.

Instead of making threads about it so other members can PM me and say "hey V, why is that person talking about you passive aggressively" you could always PM me and ask "hey, why did you post your strata? I figured we are all adults in here.
