+1000 for awesome use of the word sesquipedalian

I agree Ayn Rand is a boring read but she's not a bad listen, aka Books on Tape.

If anyone is looking for an awesome read while waiting for an ELA, pull out Caleb Carr's The Alienist or Devil in the White City. Both have been out for a while but both are very solid, compelling reads.

Figured I'd give stainless mesh a try:

It was my first build of this sort, and it works very well....at work:

How do you like it compared to cotton? I used SS mesh exclusively for about a year and a half. After trying cotton, I haven't touched SS mesh in months. For me, the cotton was just so much easier to work with and less time consuming.

I was surprised by how easy it was...maybe I got lucky, I had zero issues with shorts/hotspots/wicking. When I first got this Aga t2, I built it with a micro coil and cotton. It worked awesome, great flavor and lots of vapor. When I changed cotton, something happened. I tried everything, and it wouldn't wick well at all. First few puffs were great, and then I'd get burnt cotton. I re-coiled, re-wicked, adjusted everything I could, but couldn't replicate the great performance I had initially. I finally said enough, and tried the SS. I had a torch in my work truck, so I rolled my first wick on my break, built a new 1.3ohm coil, and put it together. My wick was a bit loose so I added a small mount of cotton to the top(just enough to fill any gaps). I was amazed by how well it works, clean flavor, and great vapor. If it stays consistent from build to build, I don't see any reason to switch. I still use cotton in my drippers though.

FYI I'm using a Simplicity 18650 with an 18490/kickII @ 12W.

Actually, this brings up a good point. I should note that I do use exclusively cotton, but I no longer use any top-coil type atomizers (AGA-Ts, DiDs, etc.). All I use at this point are drippers, Shperoid-type attys, and the GTUS (which works amazingly well with cotton).

I drip pretty much anytime I'm not on the go, and I'm solely using cotton....my budget is pretty tight right now, I have to watch spending until we get our house sold, and all moved into the new place. I've had to do with some lower priced attys...so far I'm really happy with the performance I'm getting from them, IGO-L/Trident clone for dripping(I'm not happy that I own a clone, and when I bought it at a local shop I was naïve about such things...I just wanted a couple of rebuildables), a ProtankII(which I'm running with cotton), and I just got the AGA-t2(really happy it's working now, I have no clue why it ran perfectly with cotton one day, and burnt the next). I haven't used the PT2 much since getting the AGA-t....it's my first genesis device, and fits my need pretty well.

My philosophy on vaping was once I realized it was going to work for me, to invest in a high quality PV, that was US made, and build on that. I'm really excited for the new RBA from Super-T, I'm sure it'll be worth the price. In the meantime I'll probably get a second budget friendly tank of some sort, so I can swap flavors while working. I have a pretty active job, so a lot of the time dripping isn't an option, although the vape-mate does come in handy.

I'm just happy I have a friend that sent me his P+16, if it wasn't for that, I'd probably gotten sick of the ego I had, and gone back to cigarettes. I've been fortunate that I've found a good local juice maker(Ahlusion), and hardware manufacturer that makes kick ... products and stands behind them.(Super-T, obviously)
I'm looking forward to the P+18 line returning, as I accidentally bought a kicklet top cap, and it is way to nice to return....I'll get to use it one day!

Anyhow, I'm rambling, so I should wrap this up....

I've been very satisfied with my Simplicity...but ever since getting it, I've neglected the P+16. I knew it was capable of good performance, so I dedicated my lunch break to setting up my IGO-L to run correctly. I enlarged the air hole slightly, and wound a 10 wrap 28 gauge coil, checked resistance to be right at 1ohm, and added a bit of cotton.

I decided to load up my Smok Scar with dual microcoils. I haven't tried it yet. I'm saving it because I've already got two tanks going at the moment. It looks nice, though.

Oh, and I took this a couple of mornings ago on the way in to work while stopped at a red light. I meant to post it before now.

Ready for the worst vape week in history to be over!

1) Ti no ship
2) Another item I have been waiting on has been delayed a week
3) A package of juice has went from the being at the PO >> to a sort facility >> back to the PO >> and now it's back at the sort facility
4) Switch on my current PV is acting a FOOL
5) Ordered an item on Monday that was in stock and no shipping yet..

This has been a very bad vape week for me..

There are a couple advantages to smoking. :) I don't ever recall a week where my equipment malfunctioned or didn't show up.

Ain't that the truth!

I am at the mercy of suppliers and I don't really like that..

Item 3) is still at the sort facility.. LOL
Item 4) is still acting a FOOL and is about to be bounced off the wall.
Item 1 and 5) still no shipping love

On a bright note.. I did score a 23mm SnP and another Diver the other day! :)

Very true....I've got most of my stuff setup, and working. I have a good supply of liquids, wire, cotton, mesh, etc. It was frustrating getting to that place though...my wife would just say "isn't this easier?" and light a smoke. I said sure is, but is it worth the cancer?

My buddy is just getting through the "startup" phase. Got himself a Simplicity 18350/kicklet, and is learning to build coils. I've found I'm learning more as I teach him the basics. He hasn't had a cig in 5 days now, and I'm glad to have helped him get there. I just need to get my wife on board. I think it'll be easy after we move and winter sets in. I don't think she'll want to stand outside in the freezing cold while I relax by the fireplace with my PV.
