This morning I am particularly grateful for my friends here on V4L forum. For all the practical support, technical information; yes, but also for all the sharing, caring and friendship.

I'm thankful for V4L, this forum, electronic cigarettes, and my wife and kids.
I am now 9 days without a cigarette, and absolutely thrilled to not have to go outisde to fulfill my nicotine addiction - especially in Omaha now that it is getting cold. I'm thankful that I don't stink anymore, that my wife is mildly complaining about how often I have an e-cigarette in my hand but not really complaining about analog cigarettes. I'm thankful I won't be smoking around my kids or demonstrating bad habits for them. I'm thankful that I'm breathing easier, sleeping better and having more energy. I think I'm thankful that my sense of taste and smell are returning (my wife's not much of a cook - I'll get back to you on this one. The cigarettes may have been a blessing in disguise in this case).
I'm thankful for all the great information I've found on this forum.
And I'm thankful that it IS snowing - my kids and I had a great snowball fight today (they won), built a snowman, and got to fire up dad's new snowblower!

I'm so excited to have my photos on the National Geographic web site! I have always wanted to have a photo that was worth of being considered by National Geographic, that day has finally arrived! :) Now if they would just put the photos in their magazine! :) My Shot - National Geographic Magazine

I am thankful for my two beautiful children who have grown up to be two of the most respectful kind hearted young adults. My 18 year old daughter just finished her first year of college studying psychology and my 20 year old son just completed his 2nd year of his carpentry apprenticeship. He got married this year (no she wasn't pregnant they are just in love) people ask him why he got married so young, he says because my Mum taught me to take care of those I love. :) how did I get so lucky? Lol

Last cigarette 16th October, 2011. Forever grateful for the support and advice from ECF.
