In the spirit of the season.....what are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my health, for a roof over my head, and food in my tummy. I am thankful for a job that allows me to challenge my mind and truly make a difference in the lives of my patients. Being a critical care nurse is hard....a lot of people die. I have been blessed to hold the hands of many as they leave their earthly life and wipe the tears of their family as they navigate the pain of losing a loved one. I am thankful for the opportunity to be in grad school, even though it keeps me away from ECF. :(

I am thankful for vaping, as it has saved my life. I am thankful that I am smoke free for 3 years. I am thankful for everyone that is on this forum because we are all here for each other....to celebrate successes and lift us up when we have a stumble or a bad day.

I am thankful for all the hard knocks life has dealt me. They made me a stronger person, and honestly I wouldn't be where I am today if the road was easy. I am thankful that I will sit down to a family dinner next week with my awesome family. I have not seen all of them together in almost 6 months. It is an extra special holiday to celebrate because I work on Christmas this year. I am thankful for good weather and the ability to drive myself to see them. I am thankful for the opportunity to snuggle with my nieces and nephews.

I have so much to be thankful for. I need to remember this when I have a carto that fails me or my juice leaks out of my tank. I really do have it pretty darn good.

What are you thankful for?

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I WILL be thankful for the featherbed that I ordered today on Amazon because it will give me the first real sleep I've had in roughly 4 weeks and I might not be quite as insane and useless when rested.

In the meantime I think I'm just thankful for Amazon Prime and free 2 day shipping.

GOD, I need sleep something fierce!

Things haven't been as great as they could be lately but at least not as bad as it could have gotten. I'm really grateful I quit smoking and for ECF. I'm over the moon that the dog didn't tear his cruciate ligament today like I first suspected. Also pleased that Comet ION hasn't blown up yet. :)

I am thankful for good friends and family. I am thankful for ecigs and getting off cigarettes. I am thankful my son and grandbabies will be home for the holidays and that I'm helping them make the transition from smoking to vaping. I'm thankful for ECF for giving me great advice and laughs when needed. Thanks! Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Being able to completely fill my lungs without coughing until my ribs hurt.
Being able to hold my breath longer than a count of ten without gasping and wheezing.
Being able to climb a flight of stairs without my heart coming out of my chest.
Being able to speak without panting.
Not smelling terrible.
Not have the breath of a zombie.
Having my wife wanting to kiss me because of the last item.

The is the short list, but it is a start. Good luck, Happy Thanksgiving and have fun!

I am thankful for a wonderful job. No matter how stressful it gets it beats not having one at all. I am thankful i found this site and am able to get wondeful advice and not get judged for not knowing it all. I am thankful for having a wonderful wife that lets me be me no matter how stupid i can get. I am thankful for all my fur kids that welcome me each day with happiness. No matter how bad the day is they put a smile on my fac when i walk in the door. I am thankful for wonderful family and friends that always have my back (again no matter how stupid i can get) and just for waking up each day to see what this world will offer.

I'm thankful that fate dealt me a father who taught me honesty, honor, and humility and that wit, whimsy, and humor are as important to quality of life as education, intelligence, and street smarts, and whose love for me was unconditional (which required epic amounts of patience and understanding!). I am thankful that Hon Lik brought ecigs to market. I am thankful for two quirky cats who keep me busy when I'm not on ECF. I am thankful to our ECF "founding fathers" for giving me my connection to all of you. I am thankful for all of you!

And I send thanks every day to the unknown person who invented ice cream.
