how is this? You recommended Dinner Lady to one of us in the Gourmet Thread and it was a big hit. Can you compare the two?

They are different types, but I now prefer the Lemon Coconut Cream Cake (Chefs Flavours) over any of my other Lemon Meringue pie / curd, Lemon bar, or lemon cake liquids, premade or diy (and I have at least 9 of these! I'm kind of obsessed). Most of them taste too sweet for me now, compared to the LCCC, and the lemon flavor seems more of a candy lemon flavor in the others now. The LCCC does not have much of a bakery component (not a big "cakey" or cookie taste), and the lemon doesn't taste like straight lemon to me ... I'm tasting some grapefruit, but it could be some citrus or another flavor modifying the lemon. It doesn't taste strongly coconut. I can identify it if I focus, but I think it more makes the whole taste rounder and more creamy than standing out as coconut qua coconut.

It's more sour/tart than my other lemon dessert juices, but it isn't strongly tart in a way that fatigues the tastebuds. It's very nicely creamy, but doesn't taste one-note like a standard fruit cream, and doesn't taste like a custard. I'm pretty much completely mystified about what the ingredients are. If I were going to try to reproduce it, I guess I would work with lemon, citrus and or grapefruit or even lime, and cream flavors similar, maybe, to a key lime pie cream type. Maybe. It's called "cake" so there's probably some sort of cake flavor as well, but I don't know what it is. Probably not FA yellow cake, though, as it doesn't gunk my coils. Maybe a cake batter flavor? I haven't tried this yet, but I have one on the way, which might tell me something.

Also mysterious: it's a shake and vape, and most creams don't tend to lend themselves to this. It doesn't, to me, taste significantly different after steeping, which is also interesting, since so many lemon flavors tend to fade. I still love my other lemon dessert juices! But I vape them much less than this one now, which I can vape, if not quite all day (because I'm not an ADV type person), for extended periods. Easily a whole tank at a time, and when I first discovered it, I really did vape it nearly all day, every day for a week.

Super long story shorter: I wouldn't classify it as variation of lemon meringue pie in the way that Dinner Lady Lemon Tart and Mr Meringue are similar. It's a different beast, and lacks the pastry component, but comes on strong in citrusy-lemony creamy notes with faint coconut, doesn't fade, is tarter, less sweet, and a good ADV type. For Lemon/Citrus dessert fans, it's a great one to have in addition to Dinner Lady, not as a replacement, I'd say -- but if I were forced to choose between them, I'd choose the LCCC.

Interesting review and thanks for so much detail. I have looked at these Chefs Flavors for awhile now and waited hoping for a restock of the Lemon Citrone one. When that did not seem to happen I ordered two others I was interested in. Spotted Dick and Custard and Fluffy Nuts. (eecch those names lol)
I have wondered about the Rhubarb and Lemon and Also the Lemon Whirl. Seems they have quite a few lemons (and custards)
I ordered mine from One Stop DIY They do not have as much variery of the CF's as the other site but they do have other brands one shot blends
Chefs Flavoring (UK)

To me the Tart au Citron is a bit tragic; it's SO SO CLOSE to perfect, but ends up too sweet, and it's like ... nasty fake sugar sweet to me. Saccharine-ish. It kills me that it's so nearly fabulous. *weeps*

I like Fluffy Nuts okay (heyyyy who doesn't, right?), and Tickle Me Pink is nice. I was very excited about Queen of Puddings, but it has a strong currant taste, and it turns out I forgot that I'm not really that fond of currant. I didn't like The Doughnut King, but I think I must not be a doughnut vape kind of person, because this is the second doughnut flavor I've tried that other people love that doesn't ring my chimes. Welsh Custard, I love. I think that's all I've tried from that page. I keep *almost* getting the Lemon Rhubarb tart, but then need to pare down my order. One day.

KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED FOR GINGER ROGERS. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I lub it, and I really hope One Stop will stock it, so you can try it.

I might just order from the UK website because now I want that Lemon Cake BAD. A friend got the Queens Pudding and the other custard (the one that shows a cookie for the pic) I think it is just called Perfect Custard or something close to that and he raves about it. Giner Rogers looks heavenly so I might add that to my order if and when I buy from the UK site.
For now I just finished spending close to $95 for more flavorings and the two I mentioned above. Thanks for your help TAZZLE and maybe someone needs to start a thread for these?

I have been vaping for about 2 years and have only used vaporall peach tobacco. It is very mild and has a slight cigarette-y finish. I don't like this sweet fake candy fruit flavor stuff. I don't even like actual candy. If I want to taste fruit, I will eat fruit which is healthy and most people need to be eating more fruit, myself included

So I do vape diy but I'm waiting for some concentrates atm.
Bought and being gaped at the top for me are...
Milk man-one hit wonder
Menage a trois- ruthless (raspberry compote, creme brulee and cheesecake)
Lemon tart-dinner lady
Peach ice tea-snap
I have too many flavours but these are what I'm vaping at the top.

mmmmm! They all sound great. Dinner Lady is definitely great. I'd like to hear more about how you like the Menage a Trois, especially. (hush now, dirty minds!)

I'm vaping Scutch's RY4 Reloaded (AGAIN), which keeps getting better every day. Why did I only make 30 ml at first? Why did I let my husband try it?

I love Menage a trois....
Actually it's really nice, so many cheesecake and creams etc are so clarity after vaping for a long period. Not this one. The raspberry is really fresh, the brulee is not too sweet and the cheesecake is spot on. One of my favourite liquids, cant decide if it's as good as dinner lady and that decision will take a few more drips

I am vaping YouGotEJuice Sugar Cookie and it is so good and my absolute FAVORITE is Jam Monster Blueberry. I bought my first Jam Monster two weeks ago the Strawberry one and I loved it so much I got Blueberry and I have vaped 300MLS of them together so far. I got to find a recipe or I will go broke. Anyone know a good one, especially the blueberry.
