I believe the gold plated SS will be even less conductive than brass (assuming the brass is well maintained), but again it doesn't actually matter in practice. The advantage of SS is that it's more durable and doesn't need to be maintained as much. Watch out for your gold plating. It will come off if you polish your mod. There is so much hype about "this mod hits so hard bro". You can achieve the same thing by dropping your coil resistance ever so slightly if you really want. It is true though that on super low ohm builds a low VD mod will get you more usable battery life, but again, I rank switch feel/reliability, build quality, pin design, serviceability, durability and looks above measured voltage loss. Still love my BCV XXIX though, which happens to be one of the lowest voltage drop devices tested so far that I know of.
I bought a HCigar Nemesis clone (no logo, cause I don't want to pretend) as my first mech mod. It's pretty good, but has a few issues with build quality that bug me. Functions fine though. Less than 2 weeks after I bought my nemmy clone, I moved on to authentic mods and have not looked back.
