Thanks so much. I don't care about the logo, brand vs authentic, I just want something that works well and looks pretty and is small in 350 mode. I'm sure the authentic works better, but I've heard good things about the reliability of the nemmy clone. I guess when the original has been out as long as it has, people have more time to perfect the cloned devices? I'm still new and before I drop hundreds of dollars on a what essentially amounts to a tube and switch, I wanna make sure that any mech setup (clone or authentic) is even viable for me to use.
Up until now, I've been using a segelei ZMAX v5 and a nautilus tank. So this is my first attempt at a mech AND a dripper.![]()
Your reasoning is more or less identical to what I was thinking. As soon as I tried an RDA on a mech, I knew it was for me. I believe your gear is already on the way, but if it isn't, you could swing by a local B&M and see if someone there would let you have a session or 2 with their mech+rda. You'll know immediately whether or or not it's for you. If it is, you could probably skip the clones and pick up a nice used mod and rda for $200 to $250 pretty easily.
It's true that a mech mod is a tube and a switch (and a top cap I guess), but it's something you're going to use a lot and the little things are going to matter in the long run. For me that includes the aesthetics.
Good luck, and don't give up. I was very close to ditching vaping until I was introduced to mechs and rebuildables.
