Glad to see some new peeps in the thread! Thanks for joining us. I knew we couldn't be the only DVR addicts here lol.
No DVR, just TPB.
I just pulled the first three seasons of Banshee. It's pretty good, but needlessly porn-y.

All time favourite Tv show: Soap!

Cheers

No kidding! I watch so much junk I won't even admit to half of it.

I enjoyed Constantine. Shame they didn't make it to season 2.

For those on a zombie kick... there's the UK miniseries called Dead Set. May be worth a look. Not new, tho.

Not needlessly. It's a Skinamax series after all. I love it in spite of the sex and violence

Speaking of Skinamax, Strike Back's final season starts July 31. Holding my breath...

If you all haven't starting watch Wayward Pines yet you need to. It's a ten part mini series that once you think you know what is going on something happens to throw you a loop.

I think I'll just wait until wayward pines is done and watch it somewhere like hulu.. With Shyamalan behind it I just can't bring myself to get too invested. After everything since unbreakable I just don't have faith in his ability to wrap things up.

They actually have a catch up day on Saturday! Fox is showing the first 4 episodes since the fourth is on Thursday.

I watched The Whispers, but I was not impressed. No specific reason why, it just didn't do it for me.

Just found out all of the Aquarius episodes are online, might watch a couple tonight.

Watched Unreal last night on Lifetime, it was great! Looking forward to more episodes.

It seems like a cool idea. I still have the first episode on my DVR.

Man, that ruins the fun of it! lol

I understand completely. My wife got me to watch it after the third episode aired. I have to say it is really weird but good. From what I understand the books are the same way. I don't know how much he has control over the story so if it ends weird I don't know if you can blame him or thr storys author. Lol

I'm halfway through Longmire's Pilot episode and it looks promising.
1st season is sitting pretty via Utorrent.

I looked Wayward Pines up on IMDB.
It looks very interesting and twisted is my favorite kinda show.
First 3 HD episodes are sitting in the DVR via DirectTV :)

I'm hooked on wayward pines but have gotten so used to binge watching series that it is killing me. If they would release the whole season I'd watch it in a night.

I watched the first half of the whispers first episode and it seemed solid but I fell asleep so I don't know if it held up after that. It seemed like a good idea for a movie but may drag as a series.

Ooh! I just saw some bad news! I guess it's been out there, but I just found out... The Bridge was not renewed for a season 3. :( I absolutely loved the first season, it was awesome. The second season seemed a bit misguided, but was still enjoyable. I'm not sure I agree with the decision to cancel, but oh well. :(

We just received the DVD box set of all three seasons of the original Batman series with Adam West, which I haven't seen since 1968. The price of the box came down over $100 from its original listing, so we went for it. That's what we'll be watching during dinner for the next several months... just as soon as we finish the last disc of the WKRP In Cincinnati box set.

We have no DVR, and no cable. When cable went digital a couple of years ago, we discovered that we had access to over 400 channels, but watched only three of them, none of which were the major networks. So we ditched the cable and bought a Roku, which is used pretty much exclusively by my wife to watch programs on Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video and Netflix. Actually, we still have a CRT TV set.

I can't wait for OITNB! Binge watched seasons 1 and 2, but think I'll take my time with season 3. Don't want it to be over so quickly haha.

Just started watching tonight's Wayward. Not sure if I'm ready for the truth!

Also I'm sad about Pete. I love Andy from Weeds!
Thats my biggest gripe with netflix. I wish they would do it like yahoo did with community and release one a week. I'd say most people, myself included, tend to binge watch the whole season as soon as its released so you get like 2-3 days of watching then a whole year until the next season comes out. Pretty ...... that I did the same thing when the first 3 eps of game of thrones got released making an already incfedibly short show even shorter. I mean who only runs a season as 10 episodes.

What happened to the good old days of 22 episode seasons? I'm also not a huge fan of airing half a season waiting a few months and airing the last half last walking dead does makes it seem super short.

You could always just not binge watch.. I prefer to get a season over in a couple days.. Even if the wait is longer.

Im re watching daredevil on netflix. Episode 4 now and vincent d'onofrio is just killer as kingpin. Anyone that hasnt watched it yet should.

Also just found old coppies if and started watching the adventures of pete and pete.. Doubt many around here remember it
