Here's a pet peeve that always happens to me without fail: I order a few things off a website and then something compels me to look back through the website once I've completed my transaction. I ALWAYS see something else I want or should have ordered. I don't want to eat the extra shipping charge on some dink item like a drip tip or bottle of juice, so I send some awkward apologetic email to the effect of: "Gee, um, sorry, but, uh, could I please add this one little thing to my order, that is if you haven't already processed it and/or shipped it yet? Oh yeah, uh, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience. Apologetically and sincerely yours, Tez." Despite my groveling and self-effacement, I often get a "sorry but no." Uggghhh!
Agreed! That happens to me all the time. Even if I mail them immediately saying I made a mistake, I always get a reply 2 days later saying that my order has already been shipped. Then another 2-3 days AFTER that, I get a notification of shipment with a non working tracking number.... I guess vendors have learnt to not fix orders in the hope you will place another one and add even more items to the cart...

So if it's not too ironic of me to attempt a minor thread jack on this here thread (which I know is a lot of people's pet peeve), do you mind if I ask where you got that little chrome beauty, synthros?

It was a co-op purchase Tezcatlipoca :)

Thanks! After doing a little digging, it looks like some similar stuff is hitting the US market soon!

So true! I knew there were evil forces in operation here!

I know I always go on about vendors NOT telling us what their juice is supposed to taste like but man, I just checked out a new site that put in the description, some stupid descriptive prose about some random hippy new agey experience. Seriously? WHY CAN'T YOU JUST TELL US WHAT YOUR **GD** JUICE IS SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE?!?!?! I'll give you money to try your new juice; don't you want money? I honestly don't understand why vendors do that crap.

I hate this quote people use
"Its to much hassle to use that thing!"
Yea its also to much hassle to breathe after smoking a cigarette but you don't see me knocking their habits :p

Ugh...reminds me of a new vaping podcast I had high hopes for. The "knowledgeable host" in the course of touting the "two-piece system" relegates any vaper that didn't use cigarette style pvs (sorry Jin_888!) to drug addicts with their needles and stuff filling their cartomizers and tanks.

"Would you rather take 5 minutes to fill a cartridge or would you prefer to just toss the old cartridge and screw on a new (pre-filled) one?"

* I hate e-cigarette "news articles" that evolve into advertisements for the "best rated" e-cigarette on the market...

...especially when it advertises a company or brand I've never heard of.

* Kiosk vendors presenting their product as "the real deal".

* And I almost forgot...I hear the owner of a new vape store in my area refuses to sell methol or ejuice with nic levels over a certain amount because it would be too much like smoking. His goal, I hear, is to slowly wean the repeat customer off nicotine entirely so that they'll eventually vape no nicotine at all.

Noble cause indeed, but who died and made you E-Juice Regulator of Maryland!?

I hate the sales gimmick that every vendor seems to use of putting some arbitrary price on a generic product, then slashing through it, marking it down to what the same product sells for on 20 other sites, and telling me I'll save "x" dollars. It's like they all read the same Marketing for Dummies book.

Sitting down, facing forward.
I've got a new one....vaping (hate that term too) is too cottin pickin easy. I was out the other day to get some groceries. Here in the Nanny State (NJ) you can't use an electronic cigarette/PV anywhere smoking is prohibited which means public places like stores, restaraunts, bars and so on. I usually go out with a Volt X2/clearo for in the car and a 78mm/CE3 for walking around. Parked, got out, walked into the store vaping away and realized I was still vaping as I was looking for just the right cantaloup. Thankfully they were close to the entrance, but I almost passed out holding that last big inhale.

I'd rather spend 30 seconds to fill a cartridge, because, well...I'm cheap.

Yeah seriously? Who takes 5m to fill a carto? Even my CE3s I can have refilled in about 45 seconds. Well, maybe a minute if it's a thicker juice I have to wait longer to go into the syringe. :p

That's because they have. Or they talked to someone who went to business school. It's all the same crap that has no bearing on anyone at or above average intelligence except for the ridiculous hippie .... "branding" stuff that really does make a difference.

God help us when people figure out how to become so iconic that you have to run an ad begging people not to misuse your trademarks (xerox, kleenex, velcro). I'm happy every time I see one of those "you save" tags because I know i'm still making some of my purchasing decisions.

My vaping pet hate: Having to call it "vaping" at times. Its an annoying, awkward word that sounds goofy.

It IS rather awkward. I find myself reluctant to use it when explaining my...eh...vape experience.

(Just got that red spell check line under "vape"...)

Besides the word sounding a bit pretentious, you give yourself the burden of having to define it to the uninitiated. I usually walk away feeling like a tool.

(Please don't make me come back and define what "feeling like a tool" means...!)
