I've tried this basic question in 2 different ways over at the new members area, and not gotten a single answer, so I thought I'd try it here.

So I finally get my Tornado tank kit in today, which is an Ego-T, and I've already charged one battery, mixed up 3 flavors and tried the menthol that came with the kit. I dont like the raspberry, and the black currant/menthol is iffy at best. The tropical tobacco is OK. The menthol is OK. I'd I read a thread here last night where a member left a link to a company that will send you a free sample of their sucralose sweetener liquid, so I sent off for that last night, because I'd like to sweeten the menthol and tobacco a bit.

My Tornado tank (Ego-T) is getting better as I get used to it and figure it out, but I am still not getting any where near the vapor I am seeing on youtube videos from people using 510 sized batteries! So, I also watched a video from the Grimm green guy who did an Ego review and said he wasnt getting squat for vapor til he changed to another cartomizer/atomizer setup.

I just got through watching him talk about the Liquid Express LR 510 cartos, and granted he was not using an Ego, but I also saw another guy say to use those same type 510 LR cartos for better vapor.

So what do I really need here? In my cart at Totally Wicked, I have a 5 pack of 510 XL LR dual coil cartos, and a Titan/Tornado 1.5ohm LR atomizer. Can I use either of these 2 setups with my Ego-T, will they fit first of all, and which of the 2 can be used for dripping. I also have a drip tip in the cart too. I have not bought any of it yet, its just in the cart.

Will either of those 2^ be good for improving vapor and taste? If not, what else should I get instead? Cause I'm not getting much flavor or vapor here... Plus I'd like to be able to drip flavors to see which ones I like instead of having to mix up a bunch and put it in a tank.

Thanks

Yeah those set ups should work fine. Low res and/or duel coil should give you a better vapor production than standard and single coil.

There is something you should know, though, about those videos. A lot of them are hype. Not real. Stage tricks. A sham. A ruse. Smoke (vapor) and mirrors. However you'd like to put it. There's a couple ways you can make vapor production look better than it is on camera. First of all is simply angle. You see those videos where people blow directly at the camera? Looks impressive, but if you saw a side shot of the same exhale, the vapor wouldn't look that good. Also, those videos with ridiculous vapor production are most likely using pure VG, just for the camera. Amazing vapor production, but too thick to be convenient for most of us, and doesn't carry the TH well. Most of us use a PG/VG ratio, and high PG solutions don't give nearly the vapor production.

So don't worry so much about how it looks, does it hit your throat nice? Do you feel satisfied with the lung-full you're getting? That's what matters. If you don't feel the "oomph" or don't feel like you're staving off nicotine cravings, try a higher nicotine concentration. As for the the taste, along with your low res/duel coil equipment, try this. I get the feeling you're fairly new yeah? Well smoking kills your taste buds, and it'll take time for them to come back. Try juices with extra flavor. In fact, try more juices too. Some juices just aren't that impressive.

No real need for dual coil cartos I get great results with my Riva 510 and my ego twist with Smoketech LR 1.7 ohm carts from Crystal Clear Vaping . You will find that the juice plays a big part in flavor and vapor production as well. The first juice i ordered was crap little vapor and flavor. Im not much of a dripper so maybe someone with a little more experaence will chime in on that.

I dont plan on dripping forever, I just want to do it while I am trying out all these sampler packs of different flavors I should be getting in the mail over the next week or so. I keep looking for free samples from good companies and good deals on sampler packs of 5 juices.

Once I figure out which flavors I like, I doubt I will still spend the time dripping when I can just fill a tank.
