Well, while out enjoying the freedom of being in a bar with my eGo at my side...I lost it somewhere! (sigh and I only had it for a few weeks). I am using my wife's so I am not in a big panic, but I need a replacement soon. Since I am buying from scratch, I was thinking that I should get a bigger battery as the 650mAh one often didn't make it through the entire day.

What would you guys recommend between the following choices:

1. Joye 1000mAh eGo-T Battery (5 button click protection)

2. Joye 900mAh Variable voltage Joye eGo e-cigarette battery allowing 3.2v, 3.7v, and 4.2v vaping. (note: not an authentic JoyeTec Product)

3. Joye 900mAh battery

Would the 1000mAh be a lot longer and heavier than the original 650mAh? Do I care about having different voltage options? And finally, I assume that my original eGo charger can charge the ones mentioned below?

Thanks!

Kind of personal taste. I like the big battery because I don't have to charge it more than once a day. But it is kind of heavy. Doesn't bother me.

Different voltages would be something to try later when you are more comfortable with vaping. You have to know what works at what voltages. If you do it wrong you'll fry something.

Honestly, out of those three then the Ego-t batt is the best because of the shut-off feature. The Riva's and Kgo's now have that feature too from what I've heard. Those would be better choices because they are 3.7V compared to only 3.4V.

Although, it would be a great choice to go with the lava tube but, it's not available in the states yet I think. Only saying that since you already went through the big batt experience and maybe ready for mods now.

Anyways.....WELCOME TO THE ECF

not at all a sponsor or anything but totallwicked-eliquid.com is having a sale this weekend where the price goes up and down pretty frequently... its kinda fun to watch, but regardless you might be able to grab a steal on an ego there, they also have single batteries and I have seen their price drop fairly low for those...

I'm probably going to try to snack a full kit when the price drops low enough just to have spares... just.. gotta... be... patient..

Well I decided to go with the 900mAh and a 5 pack of atomizers, some more carts, and, and, and... :)

I will need to get a full month on no smoking under my belt to pay for all this stuff!!! Thanks for the help guys!

LOL...it would take me years just to break even but I don't worry with the cost. My health is the only thing on my mind. The 900mah batteries are nice and not much bigger than the 650's. Keep an eye open for Thanksgiving day sales or start watching the week of Thanksgiving...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/85781-deals-steals-299.html - bookmark this site. There is also a supplier's forum, bookmark it also - E Cigarette Suppliers Forum. And somewhere within the supplier's forum (I think) there will be a Thanksgiving Day Sale stickie. Someone usually posts the link to it in the deals/steals thread so keep your eyes open for it.

Welcome to ECF.

I have been pretty happy with the Riva 750 mAH. Last me about a day, So that keeps me good as I'm out and about. The life saver for me has been a USB plug in unit. No battery just straight out of a USB power adaptor. Works well at my desk and living room. Even have a 2 amp car charger. Nice 5.24 volt vape. I don't find being tethered to an power supply that objectionable. I do like the idea of when I unplug it, no chance of a BOOM/FLASH situation.
