What battery for Madvapes box mod?

I am going to make my first mod using the pre-prepped madvapes box mod. What batteries should I use though?

I was looking at ordering these Amazon.com: UltraFire 14500 AA sized 3.6V Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery 900mAh CR 14500 Lithium Ion: Electronics

with this charger Amazon.com: Ultrafire 14500 3.6v 900mah Rechargeable Li-ion Battery + Charger Combo: Electronics, but would like to know if I am choosing the proper ones before I jump.

That battery is unprotected. I wouldn't recommend it. Why not just get your battery from MadVapes as well?

I always use AW round cells. They're more expensive, but you get what you pay for. I usually get them from lighthound. The protected 14500s are here. If you want to use an LR atty/carto, the IMR ones are here.

The AW batts are popular so there's lots of vendors for them. You can find vendors in the suppliers section of the forum.

Thats what I use for my 14500 mods... no problems yet and last for a while.... Usually buy from madvapes.....
