I've been vaping off of my friends protank/ego twist but I want to purchase my own setup now. I love the protank but im unsure of what would be a decent setup to purchase. I've had this for about 8 months now and want to upgrade to something decent. I have been looking at the kamry kts v2 as well but haven't seen too many reviews on it. What would you guys recommend? MVP v2 should give you the best bang for your buck. Since there are many options, you need to figure out how much you are willing to spend. For removable battery mods, you will need to buy few batteries and charger. If you want a tube mod, vamp, zmax, or svd is popular. if you are willing to put down larger investment upfront, you can't go wrong with provari and be done.

I think if you're comfortable with the setup and it's working for you, there's not a huge reason to change it up. Personally, I find the ProTank a little awkward with the smaller eGo batteries and find a better fit on my mod. I think my issue is because it's top heavy and tends to fall over easily when I stand my batt up on end. That said, it puffs well on my VV, so I would agree that it's a decent setup aside from aesthetics.

I've been really liking the eGo style VV batteries with a Kanger mini-Pro tank. It looks good, can handle any juice you throw at it and I get pretty close to the performance of the Pro Tank, minus the extra juice. I use cheap EVOD tanks for sampling and haven't had too many issues with them, but others have reported some. (I'm still new and haven't tried everything under the sun, either.) I'm kind of subscribing to the idea that the eGo style battery is pretty much a refined technology, so specific brand names don't make a huge difference, but there's probably some exceptions there with uber-cheap batteries. I like having one style atomizer to maintain, but that's because I've gotten into rebuilding them. If I was buying them new all the time, I'd probably open my options quite a bit more on heads.

Good luck and welcome to ECF!

Hello solipsy, welcome into the ECF forum

so you think you want a removable battery device
need; batteries and a charger also
(compared to one with an internal battery)

I like the self contained ones myself, so that's what I suggest

this is the best value/performance I think you'll find (JMO)
does it all / has it all
