I was going through all of the threads and there was one about 'what is your favorite book in the Bible.' I didn't know the names of the folks, so I thought it would be cool to do it again!

Revelation is my first choice because of the promise of living with Jesus forever.

Matthew is my favorite gospel. I love the Sermon on the Mount! It pumps you up and gets your blood flowing. I love the Beatitudes, too! Plus, there's nothing better than a born-again tax man! Glory to God!:)

I liked Revelations quite a bit. Anyone here ever read the book of Judas? I just found a links to .pdf versions of some Gnostic gospels. Interesting to read, even if it wasn't part of the Bible.

I haven't read any of the books outside what we already have in the bible, however I would be interested in reading them, like the books of Enoch, Jasher, Wars of the Lord, Jehu, etc....there are quite a few that would be interesting to read.

I was going to link to the site I found, but decided not to as they seem rather intent on selling stuff, based on the content outside of their "library" of very brief .pdf documents. At worst, these ancient writings give a better understanding of the times and what was going on. I know a bit of the story about how the book of Judas was discovered, circulated a bit on the black market, and eventually was restored in some fashion, as it was crumbling.
