Haha..That was me too! But them I switched to the Pall Mall orange 100s...but now I just vape.

Just out of curiosity, do (did?) any of you Pall Mall exsmokers pronounce it "Pell Mell"? Apparently that is the intended pronunciation, according to the (ancient) TV ads. (Saw it on YouTube, LOL)

I had my first cigarette at 14 when me and my friend Robbie found a pack of Parliaments on the ground. My first menthol came shortly after off my two drags I couldn't stand up right and it was truly relaxing...So I smoked Newports until I coughed blood then switched to Marlboro Menthols, then I got into the Camel Mentol Crush's (Not those stupid regular ones)... I'm still trying to find a cheap way to extract ..., and figure out how to vape it, then I can quit those analogs too XDDD

Last time I (we) quit, we went from Cambridge Menthol Light 100's (which we liked) to 305's Menthol Light 100's. They were foul and we gradually stopped smoking them. But it didn't last. Crept back into it with a few different ones off and on.

Tried the switch to 305's again this time - but I guess they changed them or something, because the plan failed when we actually liked the stupid things. Prices went up a few times and it was annoying - till someone told my wife about something we could get at a discount grocery store that was way cheap. They were made in India I think it was - supposedly a cigar/cigarette thing with a sweet tip filter and menthol called "Double Diamond".

The Double Diamonds did the trick. They were harsh, nasty, inconsistent, and sometimes exploded. (LOL - really! They would pop and rupture the paper!) Didn't take long smoking them to start really feeling lousy and getting motivated to quit. So one day when there were none available, we found some e-cigs and were off and running.

Winston Lights cause they were the only additive free cig on the market to at least TRY to not put any more crap in my lungs than I had to. Then for the last 2 years I RMO using a Tops cig making machine using any all natural non additive tobacco. Don't miss it a bit. Vaping close to 3 months and analog free 22 days.

I like this thread - I wish those who responded would add their current vaping flavor too. In reading through many of the threads it seems the menthol smokers aren't necessarily staying with menthol flavors. Or am I wrong?

I smoked Virginia Slim Menthol Ultra-lights for fifteen years. Then I switched to American Spirit Menthol upon the advice of my doc, who said, "If you insist on smoking, at least switch to something natural." After two months of American Spirit Menthol, I picked up vaping. I'm glad that I had already switched away from the Virginia Slims because I had already gone through the worst of the MAOI withdrawal before picking up vaping.

I couldn't stand any of the menthol-flavored juice I tried. My vape of choice is everything in Ms. T's Snickerdoodle collection.
