No problem at all. Also, since you have already reached your 5 posts requirement. Feel free to look around the forum since you can make threads anywhere you want now. Also, you will be able to pm people. Which is important since there are some mods/vendors here that are exclusive to the ECF. The only way to order would be through pm and paypal.

I hope you enjoy your time here. Wishing you and your wife luck in quitting cigs and to live a healthier lifestyle.

Thank you!!

For new vapers I recommend just what your original post stated: get something that is as close to an analog as possible. I started with one brand, but recommend vapeshot.com stuff for beginners now.

They include pretty much everything you need in a starter kit including the PCC (charge Pack) and they have discount codes.

Their stuff is "510 style" which means it has male threads on the cartomizers. This makes it more compatible with bigger batteries down the road should you decide you need a bigger battery later.

Their website is good for new vapers too. It's easy to get everything you need at a decent price.

For juice I recommend V4L. They have discount codes as well. Their batteries and cartos are all kr808 style though so they are less compatible if you get bigger batteries.

Good Luck!

Thanks for suggesting V4L :)

Another KR8 lover on the scene here, so my vote is also for a KR808D-1 model ecig, which is what the Volt/Bloog/Halo are. The couples kit from Smokeless Image may be a good way to go ... and wow, I can't believe that you just started this thread and its already 5 pages long :p

lol, I was very surprised how active this forum is... Amazed...

All have given you good advice! I just wanted to say welcome!!!
:)
cant go wrong with a volt!

Right now I am leaning toward V2/Riva/eGO, I left out VOLT because the cutoff time is only 5 sec :(

Welcome to the forum Formosa... :)

Thank you!:)

Not sure after the TON of info. youve received how much help this will be but here goes.........
We just started out before Christmas and I purchased the V2 kits for my wife and I. We both really do like the kits and I have been smoke free since starting them, my wife still has a urge every so often. The V2 cigs do work and the flavors they offer are pretty good overall. She really does enjoy the Menthol and I prefer the Reds, so lots of choices there. After the initial use of the V2 cigs I ordered a few other things from them and found a small problem, OUT OF STOCK inventory. You wont find anything on their site when a item is out of stock, and they will charge you for it in the mean time and ship when it finally arrives. If you dont mind waiting on stuff, then I guess youd be fine. Shipping with them is rather expensive as well. I also purchased some V4L batteries which are not even close to a V2 battery, bought 4 of them and none compare to the V2 battery so as far as V2 is concerned I think for battery's I would stick with them, they cost more but function much better. We had some blank cartridges on order with V2 and being the impatient sort that I am found a site and bought some 901 atomizers and tanks and the wife LOVES them, much more flavor and better vapor, plus, in the long run MUCH CHEAPER! Ive noticed alot of the V2 follks going with the tanks lately so you might want to investigate those as well if you go with your V2 choice...and call to make sure they have stock BEFORE you order.
NOW......having been down the 808 road and since the choices are VERY limited ive made the switch to a 510, I chose the RIVA 900mAh kit, it was the best priced kit I found and they offered 20% off to boot! I shopped from 3 vendors and for under $200 I was able to pick up 2 kits, 6 atomizers, 15 tanks, and (4) 30ml bottles of juice..........I think I did pretty darn good with it! The V2 is a good start but my recomendation after all of the shipping problems and stocking problems is to save the money and get a 510 setup right from the start and your good to purchase at just about any site out there instead of the 3-4 that sell 808 equipment.....

thats my .02 cents!!!!!
