I know it's not a good idea to get on skin and you should wash with soap and water immediately if it does.

I also heard and found out for sure that it takes wood varnish off. Got a few drops on dresser when refilling.

My Ego-C seems to leak a bit and I keep it in my shirt and back pant pockets. Will it eat through or bleach fabrics?

When smoking with my leaky device and I get some on my fingers I don't bother washing it off. Should I worry about cell phone and other touch screen tablets. Does it eat through rubber or plastic? Wouldn't think plastic as it comes in plastic bottles.

Keyboards/mice?

Is this a tightening issue my device?

your battery doesn't leak...its the clearomizer/tank or whatever ya pour the liquid into...prolly has a bad seal..replace the coil or replace the tank..and if the liquid takes the finish off wood then ya know its real strong so I suggest U keep your setup in a case or a toothbrush holder or something....and of course don't get in your eyes..

30mg currently waiting for 12mg and 18mg to come in mail. I think I ordered two strong but definitely took the varnish off of dresser in the spots I left refilled eblu cartomizers that I filled too full and they dripped onto dresser while sleeping.

I guess I'm more concerned about phone and/or tablet and using fingers on that after touching leaky tank. And yes it's the part between the battery and the tank. the metal part between the button on battery and I think (coil or atomizer) that is leaking.

Hi again Mohamed

Are you using an actual eGo C setup with the eGo tanks? Ifyes there are a pile of posts on ECF about how to fix leaking issues.

Varnish!? I've never run into that before. I've not heard any reports here - yet - about liquids taking out a touch screen. But it's always better to keep after your kit and clean up any leaking issues.

The finger in they eye thing? Oh sheesh! Don't do that! Ask me how I know? I rubbed my eye right after refilling something and Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! I was on the phone at the time with a fellow vaper and after we got past my freak out moment there was a lot of flushing the eye out with water at the sink going on. Didn't require a trip to an Emergency Room but if it ever happens flush the bejeezers out of the effected eye immediately until the burning sensation stops.

The nic itself isn't going to harm anything. The PG could interact with a number of things, but it's mostly the flavors that have an effect. I believe that the VG is completely harmless (someone correct me?).

There are a few juices with strong acidic fruit flavors, that could eat away at some specific plastics, but they are rare. Most vendors will let you know (or just ask here :D ).

As for handling, nic can be absorbed through the skin. I use 6 mg, so it's not a big concern, but at 30 mg, I'd make sure I wipe off my hands fast, if I wasn't wearing gloves. It's not that bad though, you just have to use your head ;)

Technically (and you can stop reading now if this isn't your cup of tea), there are 5 (or is it 7?) major classes of plastics. You can tell them apart from the recycling logo, which has a number in it. Unfortunately, there is no such symbol on cell phones or tablets, but they can handle minimal exposure. Wipe them off quickly. Paints and varnishes are sensitive though; I stripped off the painted logo on my charger.

Your wallet...
Ain't that the truth! :D

I carry spare clearos/batteries in a fabric carrying case and have had devices leak in there a couple times - makes everything smell like the juice, but the fabric hasn't bleached/faded or deteriorated from it. Most touch screens are glass, so it shouldn't hurt them - but if your phone/tablet has any plastic on it, it could be a bad thing to get any appreciable amount of juice on them. Juices are safe in the plastic bottles they're sold in, but other types of plastic (e.g., the poly tanks) can be destroyed by "tank cracker" juices....so since I don't know what kind of plastic my other devices may be made of, I wouldn't want to be the poster child for discovering that e-juice destroys a laptop/tablet/phone casing.

Sounds like some tests are in order... If anyone wants to donate smartphones and Tablets to the study PM me, I will be sure to test them to the best of my abilities. I will send video of your device getting Destr... I mean tested...

I got a galaxy s4 two months ago. In three years or so I may send it :) It's got some type of plastic screen protector so I'm hoping I'd see damage on the plastic screen protector first so I could replace that before touch screen got ruined. My kindle has no such plastic screen protector. I've been watching netflix with it while vaping before bed. It's so nice not to have to get up every 20-30 minutes to smoke outside.

But I still need to get some 0 and lower nic flavors as I feel bad I'm vaping too much at night just to do it.

What brand juice are you using and what kind of tank or system are you using?

Joyetech eGo-C Starter Kit - MyFreedomSmokes.com with the 1000 mAh battery and don't remember which atomizer I got...either 2.5 or 1.7 ohm . I don't think the ohm is printed/labeled anywhere. It came with 5 attomizers and 5 plastic tanks and 2 batteries.

Juice is 30mg. I got 10x3ml all 50/50 ratio some fruit, some tobacco, some coffee, some vanalia, all just random flavors. I know I started too high. I was only a 1.25 pack a day smoker. I got smaller doses coming but the 30mg is working so far...it just may be too strong.

I will take it in two or three years, I am not picky and that might be the only device I still need to test
