What can I expect from Cig2O batteries and cartomizers?

I just bought a Cig2O e cigarette from a tobacco shop that is relatively close to where I live. I got it for $25 and the kit included 2 cartomizers, a battery, and a USB charger (2-piece e cig). The battery is roughly 2.5in. and the people at the tobacco shop say it should last almost all day on a single charge (it also depends on the frequency of use). I'm wondering if there is anything I need to know about charging the battery...things like if it's bad for the battery if I were to charge it for short amounts of time throughout the day when I'm driving or at school, or if it has to be a continuous charge (2-3 hours of continuous charging when the battery dies). Also, is it bad to charge it overnight? I'm new to electronic cigarettes and I'm just learning about them and I just basically want something reliable without having to order online. I have also used Green Smoke, but I lost it at school today...

Is anyone familiar with the quality and reliability of the Cig2O brand and what I should be expecting? Has anyone ever tried the green smoke e cigs? I can go to two different smoke shops to either buy Green Smoke products or Cig2o products.

I also started with Cig2O. For spare batteries, cartomizers etc, the style is KR808D1 (often called 808). As far as lasting all day on one charge, it depends on how much you use it, although I never get more than a couple of hours on a single charge. For spare batteries and "cartos", there are many available places to purchase them but I have bought from LiteCigUSA. Their prices and services are very good.Their KR808D1 extended batteries are roughly $13.00 and last a lot longer than the standard batteries. The cartomizers I like the best are the deluxe soft cap ones, roughly $6.50 for 5 of them, very nice cartos. You may also want to purchase a spare charger.

On to the juice.

VaporGod is where I purchase sample juices mostly. 5 ea of 5ml bottles are roughly $13.00 and there are many to choose from. I have found that their flavors are very good and service is excellent. I thought it would be best to try sample sizes first until I found some I liked. I have also bought liquid from Blue Mist Vaping, good prices, good service. Today I ordered some juices from Mount Baker Vapor, his prices seemed extremely reasonable, although I haven't received my order yet to comment on the quality.

Also I found a poster on here who recommended this to clean his Cartomizers..Walgreens.Oral Syringe | Walgreens. It works excellently and you cant beat the price.

As far as charging I wait until battery dies then I do a full charge, and yes, I charge it overnight and haven't had any problems.
As far as not ordering online, online will save you tons of money as it is much cheaper than buying from shops. (at least where I live)

My advice is to read the forums and take suggestions from the posters.

I have only been "vaping" for roughly one month but I have completely quit analogs by my second week.
Hope this helps.

I'm not familiar with either of those brands, but I'd say the price was reasonable for a store-bought model. You probably will find it problematic to only have one battery, though. Most people would drain that within 3 hours, at which point you have to charge it for a couple of hours before you can use it again.

There have been reports of explosive battery failures, and usually a faulty charger seems to be the suspect. It's inadvisable to charge these (lithium-ion) batteries unattended, and it is advisable to take them off the charger as soon as possible after the charger shows full charge. Be wary of the first use after charging, too, if you wish to be careful. That really goes for anything that uses those batteries, such as smart phones and laptops. That said, chances of a problem occurring are very small.

These batteries will only take so many charges, but they will take more charges if you don't deplete them as much before charging. From what I've found in studies, there doesn't seem to be a great difference in total service life whether you top them up frequently, or wait until they are low. Not sure about incomplete charges, though.

I use Cig2O batteries and carts! I'm actually about to have to get a new carts. I've been using these for about 3 months. I will say, the charging gets more frequent the longer you have the battery. One all night charge doesn't last me long now. I have also quit buying the carts every time I need a refill. They say equal to one pack --- negative. It's not even close and I was spending way too much money! I started buying e-juice from Pinkspotvapors.com. They have AMAZING (I cannot stress it enough) vapors that are very compatible with the type of cartos that come with theC2O kit. Plus, you will get your order two days after you order it and always get a free gift vapor. The smallest one u can buy is only $5.95 and it's 6ml. The married couple that runs it are licensed mixologists from Las Vegas and nice as hell. She puts a sweet note in mine every time. I don't even use the syringe to fill mine. I just do the condom technique (condom= the plastic cap that comes on your carto). Good luck, I'm about to buy some new cartos online that don't have juice in them already.

BTW - you're from Mass? Go Pats!

At most I was getting about 3 hours on my cig2o before having to recharge it-which took I believe 2-3 hours?

Hubby and I then bought a set up at Elite Vaporworks Home they were the 808 kits. He has great prices and free shipping (and ships fast too!) That way we had extra batteries, so something was always charged. His juices are also VERY good!

We have moved on to other PV's throughout this journey and both are now using Reo's and loving them-the grand lasts all day long and you don't have to worry about topping off a carto since it has a 6 ml bottle in it :) Good luck!

Definitely get more batteries though!

that sounds like a decent first taste of an ecig, but like others have said, one small battery isn't going to last all day if you were even a moderate smoker. Give it a try and if you like it buy yourself a fat battery (ego, kgo, riva, echo, volt x2 (this one has the same threads as your cig2o) and some low resistance cartos. And +1 on VaporGod, try the chocolate hazelnut. Thats my second favorite vape. Use the coupon code TWITTER for 20% off juice

Welcome to the ECF xNat! I bought the cig 2o just to use in the hospital and never looked back. The batteries are just OK but they got me off the analogs. I have been using my 2 cig 2o batteries since feb 10th but did add 2 G6 batteries from Halo into the rotation and have had good luck so far. I thought one of my cig 2o batts was starting to die after like 3 weeks but was wrong and its still going strong. The G6 batts are way better because they hold a charge longer and the manual ones can preheat your vapor if you press the button a few secs before taking a hit( which is nice but you won't miss that if you never had it). I leave my batts on the charger over night and they do fine. I just read a post the other day where a person was actually looking for a place to buy the cig 2o cartos because they were their favorite cartos. I love mine but have only tried Halo ones besides cig 2o. The halo ones were not that good cause they don't have much poly fill so hold less juice and they seem to burn out fast and have a high DOA rate(like 30 %).Any how you have come to the right place. Just ask any questions you have here and as you can see they will be answered.Happy vaping:vapor:

Thank you guys, this helps quite a bit...I've had Cig2O for a little less than a day and it's pretty decent, but I feel like Green Smoke is slightly better because it seems to have a higher vapor volume, slightly larger battery, and the cartomizers seem to last a while. Green Smoke is more expensive, but I can buy separate batteries from the people at the smoke shop (can't buy batteries only at the other place). I just can't use my Green Smoke because I lost it at school yesterday:mad:

Sometime next week ill probably get a new green smoke battery and cartos, then look into refilling those cartos to save a lot of money

I can say the same about Cig20 starter kits and Batteries. We lived on the Cig20 starter kits and 1 refill pack (5 Catos) for a bit over a Week. They were my first purchase. Sadly I got them from a tobacco shop that was selling spice and bath salts, they got raided about a Week after I picked up my kit. I searched all over for refills and have resorted to buying 2 Clayton kits until our Ego-C's get here from litecigusa.com . Luckily, our Ego-C's will be here on Monday and we will have proper Vaping Kits. Cig20 is worlds ahead of the Clayton kits. We definitely hate the Clayon kits.

I was playing a game called Rift that has a 2-4 Hour dungeon in it. One of our other Members mentioned E-Cigs to me, and I found those for something to "smoke" inside while playing through the dungeon. We have since decided to quit smoking, but definitely need more than 1 Batt charge for all day use. The Batt used to last almost 2 days and a Carto would last 2-3 days, now it is closer to 2 Cartos a day and multiple charges (note I can not get parts for my Cig20 and am using Clayton kits).

Yea the guy at the tobacco shop told me Cig2O isn't the worst and it's not the best. I'm happy with it, but like I said, I think Green Smoke is a little better and the place that they sell Green Smoke is even closer to me. Cartomizers get expensive though -$10 for a 3 pack of Cig2O cartos at the shop, and $20 for 5 GS cartos at the closer place. It's a good investment if I get eJuice though AND it will keep me off of analogs.

Hey xNaTe21x! Welcome to the forum, and welcome to vaping! I too started on the Cig2Os. You have a good kit, but you may find down the road that you want different batteries. I have found that most cartos (other than the Cig2O brand) do not work well with the Cig2O batteries. Also, other chargers do not charge them well either. The battery IS an 808 style, but it is different somehow than all the other 808 batteries. That said, I also love (LOVE) the Cig2O carts. Not really fond of their flavors, but refilling them is awesome. They produce more vapor than any other carto I have found so far. I would recommend a drip tip or two, to make refilling easier. The plastic cap on the end can be a pain to pop out. I use a small dental tool. Make sure you pull out the rubber donut thing under the cap as well. You can just throw it away. I don't recap mine at all, just put on a condom, and when it comes time to use it, pop in my drip tip and start.

The only problem I have found with Cig2O carts, is that I cannot find a place to get them empty. I have been trying to contact the manufacturer to see if we can work something out, but so far, no luck.

I am in "flavor/brand" testing mode right now. Have tried flavors from Vapor4Life, Eco Smoke, and have some more coming in from Vapor Dudes. So far, I have found that I personally like tobacco flavors the most. Doesn't seem to matter what brand.

Anyway, enjoy!
