Hi Sandy68.
Glad to have you here on the forum. Welcome!

Can't tell you anything about the Cig2o, but my KR808 has been a reliable and good vaping device. Easy to find parts and accessories, also.
Maybe check this out:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...st-electronic-cigarette-first-time-vaper.html

Read this 6 part series also:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ping-illustrated-guide-e-cigs-part-1-6-a.html

and watch these six vids when you get the chance:

Good luck in all your future vaping endeavors!

Hi Numevexo, thanks for the links...I will check them out! That first link especially looks like what I'm needing right now. :) Wish I had of found this forum first as the knowledge posted on ECF would have saved me some $$!

Sandy, if you dont wanna buy a complete kit, and if the threads are the same YES the voltage is the same for ur USB..Im lookin at my USB charger now for my Vapor King/Vapor 4 life charger..same as urs ;-)

Im vaping a one month old carto now as I type to you and the room is fulla vapor..LOL. No worries.. BTW, check out CigEasy, they have some 808 batteries too that are cheaper than V4L. But seeing that ur from the V4L town, u cud have ur gear in no time

I have some codes for discounts for them too BTW on my email. I can message you to ur inbox if you want them

Hi redryder1...thank you for checking the USB charger on your Vapor King! Yes, I really didn’t want to have to purchase another kit; especially when I just got this one. What a relief to know that I don’t have to!

I will check out CigEasy to see what they have, but yes, it would be convenient in other ways for me to order from V4L. Won’t have to worry about paying taxes at the end of the year for one thing, and they are closer so I would think delivery would be quick. And yes, I would appreciate the discount codes too...hope my inbox works! LOL.

Thanks for the help! :)

Wall ecig chargers that go AC to USB slot usually work charging any other slim cylindrical ecig battery you have a battery to USB adapter for. Wall chargers that include battery threads won't work unless it's the same threads.

I have also read that cig2go is KR808D-1

The length look similar to standard KR8 length, not shorty or xl.

And I recommend MANUAL batteries, not auto. Less work, more consistent hit IMO. Most people on this forum recommend manual batteries.

And BTW - if cig2o is not the same then it would probably be KR808D-2, the model rebranders usually use - same look, probably same look accessories, incompatible threads.

dormouse, thanks for explaining about the AC to USB. Yeah, my USB adapter plugs in to a stubby little wall charger, and the Cig2o screws into the USB adapter. Also, appreciate the assist regarding the size of my Cig2o...will make it easier trying to figure out which Vapor King battery to get. I like the size will be staying with it.

Guess I need to study up on the difference between the auto battery and the manual battery before ordering anything.

Y'all are SO helpful! Thank you much!!

Auto batteries are open ended batteries that require air to flow through them to activate a switch to engage the atomizer/cartomizer to heat up to make vapor.. Manual batteries are closed batteries that require you to push a small button on the side to engage the heating element that makes the vapor..Ok, at time you get an over fille carto, or fill ur own it will leak onto the battery. If this happens to an Auto battery, its dead..If it happens to a manual battery, all is well, cause E-juice cant get into the chamber to kill the internal components..

Hi Sandy

I am new here as well and my first E-Cig is in the mail, I got one rather different than yours and perhaps we can compare notes on how well they do for us.

I am a smoker too, but I plan to stop the day after I recieve my unit... we will see how it goes.

I will keep you posted, and please do the same for me!

Great people on this froum, they have been tremendous help and I have only been here for like a day

I never thought I'd be able to quit, Astro - but this technology really works! The key is to find the gear that you like and the rest is easy. In fact, you will be turned off by analogs after making the switch! Congrats to everyone here who have made the switch and a huge thanks to this valuable resource!

Hmmmm...that's good to know! Will be taking a look at the manual batteries now. And, *thanks* for the codes. Will be signing off soon so I can take my time shopping. :) Appreciate your help, and that of the other folks as well. This forum is GREAT!!

Astronomer, you are going to LUV the electronic cigarettes. My Cig2o arrived right before the blizzard Tuesday, and I was SO grateful. LOL. My husband has asthma, and we also have 2 parrots that don't like smoke, so I smoke outside. Was NOT looking forward to going out on the porch (no attached garage) in blizzard winds. Would have been hanging on for dear life! Not to mention finding it difficult to light up!

Had just purchased 4 packs of cigarettes before the Cig2o arrived, and even with having several packs in the house...I *prefer* my electronic cigarette! The vapor is SO much easier on my throat, and lungs, than the smoke; plus, I don't need to go out in the cold to smoke anymore!! YAY!! Am going to order more tonight because I do NOT want to run out of *vapor*. LOL.

As time passes, this will become a hobby..Talkin to friends on here that can relate to vaping, experiences, and experimenting with different batteries, mods, and flavors. Even it being a hobby and me having WAY more gear than i need it is STILL cheaper by a ton than smoking analogs. I dropped analogs from Day 1 and have not even had the urge to smoke since my first kit arrived. If you think about it, who wants to taste such a terrible taste of an analog when you can get all the nicotine you want from such a pleasant taste of ur favorite dessert or everygy drink or cola, etc.. Its completely logical.. Im in love with my e-cigg. LOL
