I made the mistake of starting on Safecig. Then doubled that problem by getting the Smoke Free at the mall. I found that the batteries and cartomizers are interchangable between these two.

I've moved on very happily to the Joye 510. But, my wife still likes the Safecig with the cartomizers from the mall (Smoke Free).

I've seen a few places on here where I believe somebody said an 808 carto would fit?? Or a 4081-D or something??

Can somebody please tell me what will fit these batteries so I don't have to pay the mall prices. She like's that flavor best. (Somebody said Smoke Stik, but they are crazy expensive. $5 a carto!)

Please help while I continue to try and convert her to a 510. (I have a 510 auto on the way for her :)

Thanks again for all of your great help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Companies (and I use the term loosely) like Safecig and Smoke Free rarely identify the size of battery or carto they sell because they don't want you going elsewhere for replacements. If it is indeed a KR808D-1 as you seem to suggest, about all I can say is to try a small order from someone like Vapor4Life-Because it's your life - E-Cigarettes/Smoking Alternatives

The two problems there is that by the time you get it your wife will have her 510 and will probably be very happy with it, and second, if what you have is not a KR808D-1 then you just have more parts you don't need.

I think I would just wait for her 510 and put that other junk in a drawer. If she doesn't like the 510, get back on here and we'll guide you to some good suppliers who can help you get her what she needs.

I made the same mistake and picked up my first ecig at the mall from Smoke Free.
Its called the Duet and I've been trying to find out what kind of cartomizer it uses so I can find a mod that will accept them.
I've been refilling the original cartomizers and they seem to work pretty good, just need a longer and more powerful battery is all.

I usually smoke a pack a day, but since vaping now for over two weeks i've only had 8 analogs!!!
I'm hoping that vaping will help me to finally kick analogs completely!!!!

Any info on the cartomizers and/or a mod that will accept them will be much appreciated!!!

My guess is they're 510s or a variation but what do i know, I'm a NOOOOB !!!

:2cool:Thank you in advance!!!

I have the Smoke Free mall kiosk e-cigs. It's a RN4081. AKA NJOY NPRO or Super-Mini.

I've bought some extra batts and atomizers already. One of the spare batts fits but does not work with the cartos, but the other works great, but the battery life on the ones from the mall last the longest. The replacements were $10, while the Smoke Free folks want $55 for one battery.

Try asking at AZSMokeFree.com - he (or she) sells some refillable cartomizers and maybe carts for some mall brands. Maybe he will be familiar with what model you actually have.

Safecig is a cartomizer model? This here says it is an RN4081

These cartos should work and be refillable - a few flavors, a refill syringe
The Better Way To Smoke - RN4081 Cartomizers
And you can buy blank soft-cap (refillable) ones elsewhere
FYI - if you burn cartos dry they will singe inside and never taste good again. And cartos are designed to be disposable. If refilled while still wet you may get 5-12 reuses out of a carto before the atty inside dies.

Hey dormouse, you seem to know your mall brands. My local mall kiosk vendor sells these. Do you know which model they're compatible with, if any?

I have no intention of buying anything from them, I'm just genuinely curious.

Edit: I just noticed that elcad had already answered my question. They're RN4081. :vapor:

My first e-cig was the safecig too. I actually like it (and I like the taste of the tobacco catromizers I got with it) I found the battery to last for a good amount of time. What I didn't like about it is the SafeCig is I felt stuck having to buy their cartomizers at $12.50 for a pack of 5, and that there were really no flavor options. That's when I came across this forum and bought myself an eGo starter kit.

I used up all my SafeCig cartos and now have my safecig put away in my "vaping" box where I keep all my vaping stuff, but it's good to know that other places sell RN4081 cartomizers that will fit the safecig, and for much cheaper!

I might actually buy some so I can use the safecig as a back up.

First statement is true. So is the second. The third drastically underestimates the life of a good carto. I have used the Joye 510 cartos since at least October, and I have a few dozen that I fill with different flavors. Some of these are from my original purchases in October and they are still doing just fine. Sometimes the atomizer will die in cartos, but I haven't noticed any relevance to their age or number of refills. Some new ones die within a month or less, others refuse to die after dozens of refills.

Ok so I am a noob to all this. I bought a Smoke Free one from the mall, got two batteries, 3 packs of cartridges, 1 pack of cartomizers, and case for $120. Was I ripped off? What is my best bet? Selling it to a friend or somewhere else for a loss and buying a new one or what. I like it but from everything I read it seems like there are much better products out there, and I am looking for something for the long term. The lifetime warranty from Smoke Free made it seem like a good deal and I know I got all of that for about half price (the guy said he was leaving the state and kept going down in price because I wasn't interested). Can someone let me know? Thanks guys!!
