What Cartomizers to get?

Hi guys, I am fairly new to E-cigs and all the things about it so I have a few questions what cartomizers to get for my battery. I'm not trying to promote this brand here or anything but the battery and Cartridges I got are the ones from SmokingVapor.com. After some online searching, I found out that this brand isnt very good and likewise their Cartomizers are probably really cheap. So I'm looking to buy some new Cartomizers but don't know which ones are compatible with my Battery. Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.

Hi ty for the replies, I'm not sure what you meant by the battery connector but I'm pretty sure this is what you meant. Also Bruiser I bought the Starter Kit from one of the stands inside the mall so I don't think I can return it. ;\ IMG071.jpg

Can't say for sure, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but that looks like a 510 connection. If so, you could order some Boge cartos for about a buck a piece, then fill them with the juice of your choice. That said, I've had really bad luck with cartos lately, to the point that I'm not using them anymore. :(

Listen to these guys! I wish I had found this forum before I made my choice. I got the v2, which is a good brand, but there are better choices. The Volt, E-go 510 or twist is very popular by the members on this site. Be sure to find some e-liquid. Those cartomizers can be refilled several times!

If you haven't had it for 30 days, I would send it back and say "no thanks"!

Bad in that they only lasted a day or two before tasting burnt, or they didn't work from the get go.

I'm currently having great results from the vivi nova, stardust, direct dripping on an atty and using rebuildable systems. For someone just getting into vaping, I'd suggest going for an ego twist battery, a stardust tank, and the juice of your choice. It's really a great setup for...I think less than 50 bucks. I don't want to promote vendors here, although they're all good in my experience. But if you'd like more direction on what and where to order from, and what has worked for me quit cigarettes, PM me. After all, that's really what it's all about.

I can't tell what connector that is from the picture. It's either a 510 or 808 threading.

You've got a couple of options, if you are certain that you can not return what you already have.

Spend a few bucks on some Boge blank cartomizers, probably 2.0 - 3.0 ohm standard resistance with some e-liquid of your choice. If what you get don't fit, either buy an adaptor connector or buy a few more cartos in the other threading.

There's a ton of places to buy empty cartomizers online. Not promoting any of these, but examples are Got Vapes, Mad Vapes, My Vapor Store, Hoosier Cigs,

The other option is to start fresh with another company that is more reputable with higher quality products and customer service. I started out vaping with Smokeless Image Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands
and it is a popular choice here at ECF. All of their products sold are compatible with each other, so you don't have to worry about will this device work with that (they use 808 threading). Good customer support and fast delivery.

They also have a sub-forum here with customers that are more than willing to help with questions and give support. Imagine is a company rep who also answers questions there. The are video demo's and reviews in the upper stickies to help you choose what products to get and how to use them.

If you are not dead set that your device has to look like and be close to the size of a cigarette, I'd recommend jumping up in class to an ego device. The bigger the battery, the better the device will perform and you'll be much more satisfied. Just one vendor that happens to sell these:

It does look like a 510, but that doesn't mean it is. Some of the mall kiosk ecig brands have proprietary connections. Wow, they are pretty pricey on their batteries and their cartomizers - I went to their site to search for information and tried googling info about them, but no luck. If you do decide to purchase other cartomizers to try, you will want to get standard resistance cartomizers for that size of battery.

A while back there was a lot of bad cartomizers being sold. I think most places have cycled through the bad inventory, though. I've recently purchased some Boge and Smok brand cartomizers and have had no problems.

I can't tell if it's a 510 or an RN4081 system... I really doubt it's an 808, but it could be. To to be honest with you, my guess is it's a 4081 (like the NJoy) as that's what most of the vaping Scalpers use... if that's the case, you can pick up refill cartridges at the local 7/11. If I were you, I'd contact the company and ask which system it is... (Mention you're not sure if it's a 510 or 4081 and could they clear that up for you?) they'll tell you. Good luck. :vapor:

Sigh I really wish I had done more research on this before blindly buying from some random brand inside the mall. >.> Whats the difference between the Boge and Smoktech Carts? I see really good reviews on both of them. I would like to start with a new company but unfortunately my budget is pretty limited. I have a 1 year warranty for the batteries, so I'll stick with them till the time runs out. Also, thanks for all the really great replies guys.

Whats the difference between the Boge and Smoktech Carts?
It's really a personal preference. They both are a steel tube with a threaded connector to attach to a battery. Both contain a polyfiller material that absorbs the e-juice. After that, both brands branch out with their own designs.

Boges typically come in a "standard" size, which length-wise is shorter and allow your current battery to look more cigarette sized. Boge does make an XL, or longer size. They use a single coil or heating element to vaporize the juice.

Smoketech is noted for their dual coil, or double coiled, cartomizer. They typically are longer than the standard size Boges. I wouldn't recommend them for the smaller e-cig sized batteries as they require more battery power than the smaller batteries can provide. Smoketech does make a single coil carto that would work.

Just be certain whatever carto you try, to get it in a standard resistance, such as 2.0 ohm for best performance on a smaller battery.

Sorry to say you have been duped by one of a number of companies that sets it upon themselves to deceive smokers into believing that e-cigs are these rare magical things with which only THEY can help you quit. The fact is, they're not. The best thing you could do altogether is to quit buying their garbage and end any subscriptions you may or may not have with them.

They are either 510 or 808 style connections. To find out is pretty much going to be guesswork and cost you money since google or their website reveal nothing.

I recommend you read the Vaper's Handbook (link is in my signature) and go from there. There you will find everything you need to know and beyond as far as where to start, and what best to do to get the best results for the least amount of money.

Judging by their poor use of the English language I can only assume this place is run by idiots or, even better, a foreign country.

If you're picking up 510 Boge cartos, I would highly recommend also getting a 4081 (battery) to 510 (carto) adapter.
Like Blondeambition, I tend to think those battery threads are 4081 & if that's the case you'll need the adapter in order to use the cartos. If it's a 510, you'll only be out a couple of dollars for the adapter.
