I think the suggestion you got for the CF VV and Aspire Mini is an excellent place to start your vaping journey. I recommend getting at least 2, if not 3, batteries. That way, you have enough on hand to have one charging, and should something go wrong with one battery, you will also have a backup.

After 3 years of vaping, I am quite happy still using a Joyetech eGo-C Twist and Kanger EVOD clearomizer, which is a similar setup to the CF VV and Aspire Mini.

It's tiny! Shorter, but a bit fatter than a Bic lighter.

The IStick width is about the size of 2 EVOD 650mAH batts side by side it's height is about the size of the Naughty Mini tank itself--very small like Thespis said slightly larger than a BIC lighter.

With a 2200mAH batt (meaning longer battery life between charges), other advanced features (like VV/VW) and a price point of around $35 US it really is a value.

Bunch of EVOD's/Ego's are fine as well just more limited in performance and battery life.
