What cotton are you using

Hi, have been testing a few cotton. Just wondering if there is any nice cotton besides Japanese cotton or those expensive cotton. Any cheap yet nice cotton?

I personally finds Watson square cotton pads works well.

My wife shared some of her Shiseido Japanese cotton pads and I was hooked. The next time we were at the pharmacy, I picked up a pack of 200 for 11$. Best money I've spent, as the pads are fantastically consistent!

Since I started rebuilding its just be plain old organic Japanese cotton, got a ton of it. Needing to try some of the alternatives that are available now, been hearing good things about cotton bacon - might give it a try

Been using cotton bacon for about 2 weeks now, and gotta say I really like this stuff. Easy to work with, wicks good and great flavor.

I use cotton cooking twine that I get at BBY. I do boil it as it's natural and unbleached.

It wicks great (my mixes are mostly VG), has no taste and is very easy to thread into the coil using a bead needle (Hobby Lobby). Super cheap too.

I'll just get MUJI's Organic and they do just fine, $6.30 for 102 pieces. i bearly use up the first 10 pieces since December

Another great wicking material would be Rayon.. for me it kinda enhances the flavour as compared to organic cotton

Just Watson cotton will do. Its easy to use, most uniform, cheap and cleanest tasting, in fact better than my cellucotton 100% cotton, which has a kind of 'cottony' smell.

Also tried Japanese organic cotton, not much difference. Infact the organic cotton is slightly brownish, also has some form of smell, with some tiny specs of cotton seeds,(too pure) LOL. Also, don't waste time on those so-called Rayon etc. Besides not being easily available in SG and much more expensive, some are reportedly allergic to it plus its also more tricky to wick.

I normally use muji's unbleached cotton. $3+ for a huge bag of it. easy to work with too.

Tried a few kinds.. Rayon organic klaud freaks... In all honesty after a while they all taste the same..

which pharmacy do you get it from? I get mine from Shiseido booths in department stores (eg. metro) for $6

I got organic cotton pads from body shop...not easy to work with but after some tries I got the hang of it...I also have a bag of 100% pure cotton which my mum got from a cosmetic shop. Easier to work with. I interchange between the two every now and then.

Frankly, I have now total 5 big bags of different cottons, from pad to ball to coils.. n jus recently went back to the Watson pad, somehow it feels easier to work with n seems to wick the way I vape.

Wallgreens, Studio Beauty Premium Cotton Squares, made in Japan. Take the spun cotton outer layer off to reveal nice Japanese cotton pads. Cut with grain, taste great, cheap.

I live in Ottawa, but there is a Pharmaprix pharmacy chain across the river in Gatineau!

No miracle cotton out there, that's for sure! All down to personal preference and don't just jump onto the 'hype' train or else, we'll see more 'WTS COTTON" over ECF Classifieds.

I am using cotton that was used for cleaning my baby...hahaha...dunno what it is but it comes in a roll where I need to tear abit out to wick.

I personally tried the square type cotton pad. It is easy to shape and cut but I find that it is not fluffy enough.
