I had some pineapple, and even though I absolutely loved the taste, it nearly made me cough my lungs up (too acidic for me). So I mixed 1/3 pineapple and 2/3 peach -- and it was awesome! I even ordered more pineapple so I could make some more pineapple-peach. Delish!

I like raspberry flavor, but I have yet to get one that doesn't have that floral "perfumey" undertaste which I detest. So more mixing ... 1/3 raspberry with 2/3 watermelon. Turned out really tasty, and no more "perfumey" flavor.

Heh, since I had a couple of batteries, I would put them both in my mouth with different juices to see what they tasted like. For a long time my main "mix" was all SI juice: 50% RY4, 20% Desert Joe, 30% Cappuccino. Everyone who tried it really liked it.

Now I am in search of good DIY fruit flavors. Frustrated with the TFA flavors, so probably gonna order some Capellas this week. Although I did make a really good Red Hot Cinnamon / menthol that I am happy to say has not damaged a CE2 in the month it's been in there.

HV!

I tried the DIY mixing over 3 years ago, and I just wasn't very successful. However, lately I've been lurking over at the DIY threads. With so many more vendors available for US-made nic bases, I'm thinking about maybe giving it another shot.

I found out that my favorite Vanilla Custard juice is made from Capella's flavoring, so I might start with that one. Plus I'll have to see if I can duplicate my favorite all-day vape -- watermelon.

I've been inspired by everybody's posts here on SI!

I have been a bit frustrated also, particularly getting a good fruit flavor.

Fortunately, I managed to have 2 vapable juices, one of which is really good, a cinnamon red hots / menthol.

After reading a lot of posts, I just ordered 11 Capella's flavors, heard they were the easiest to work with with no perfumy / soapy taste.

Interestingly enough, I put Vanilla Custard in as a last minute addition.

I ordered some DIY materials to see if I like doing DIY. I vape a ton of juice and I thought it wouldn't hurt to give the DIY a shot. I don't want to work with the nic until I've had a little practice so I made a small non nic batch of Asian RY4 and another of Boysenberry. I have all TFA flavors. The boysenberry smell delicious. We'll see how my little project goes. I have tomorrow off so I will add some nic and let em steep for a few days if I like the taste of the non nic when I test it.

you guys better check on that custard if you are vaping it,,,,,i would hate for you to get pop corn lung.....at least the TFA tells you about their custards....what is not meant to be vaped.

I agree, the vanilla custard I am getting from capellas is found here:

Vanilla Custard "NEW" - e juice gourmet flavored coffee e liquid tea flavor e cigarette water flavoring Diet & Fitness Baking & Desserts

Ingredients: Propylene Glycol(Used as a carrier to dissolve flavor ingredients),Water

Also on their FAQ page they state the following:

Do any of your flavorings contain Diacetyl ?
We do not use Diacetyl in ANY of our flavorings.
Even though Diacetyl is on the FDA approved GRAS list for flavoring manufacturers, there are other compounds available to mimic a buttery/creamy taste.

From what I understand, Diacetyl is the culprit of popcorn lung, and thanks Larry for the warning. I did research to make sure nothing I have contained it.
