I started with a mod. My very first experience with vaping was from an E-Power 14650: a semi-regulated tube mod that uses the 14650 replaceable 1100mAh battery. I used it for a year and a half, had a handful of 14650 batteries for it and quit smoking with it. I still have it and it still works. So much for cheap Chinese mods that break, huh? I upgraded to a VV/VW telescopic tube mod: Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic. I have two now with one as the back-up.

I started with an ego twist, after 6 months i upgraded to my first mod, the vamo. I loved the battery capacity, but i found the draw on the ego better then on the vamo.
After using the vamo for a year, the batteries died and i decided to go for a new mod instead of buying new batteries. I'm happy i did this, now i have the mvp 2 and personally i like the performance of it way better. Better then ego and vamo.

Beside you
Started from a 510 typical e-ciggy from dealextreme, move up to eGo-T then change to Lavatube + Tank and cartos, switch to a provari mini with a tank and carto before switching to a top feed rebuiltable(Similar to scubagen) and ending up with a ProTank 2. Sold off my ProVari Mini and currently using a Innokin VTR + ProTank 2..Waiting for the DNA 30D to be available before doing my own box mod.

Started with the Njoy King. Then a friend hooked me up with a cheap ego/clearo setup and a bunch of assorted flavors. About 2 months after that I bought myself a Provari and a couple of Protanks. A couple months later I bought my first genny (the Cobra, if it matters). A month or so after that I picked up the Russian, and I just got hold of a Taifun GT a couple weeks ago. I currently have an order in for the next iteration of the Futura with the DNA-30.

I was just checking out those russian 91%. Are they alot better than a carto tank? I have been using ibtanked and just bought a invision blown glass tank. I love this new invision tank.

If you are comfortable with the idea of building coils and using a meter to check your resistance, then the Russian 91% is a great choice. I have an Hcigar clone of the full-size Kayfun 3.1(very similar to the full-size Russian) and it is awesome. Flavor, vapor and throat hit are much better than my cartotank setup or the Kanger Protank 2s I was using.

If you don't want to bother with building coils, manually wicking or using a meter, then the cartotank is probably your best bet.

I tried cig-a-likes back in 2009, a Janty minifogger. It helped me cut back, but didn't quite cut it. The taste of the juice was nasty to me, but back then the market wasn't as big as it is now and the variety just wasn't there, didn't have the option of a thousand different flavors!

I've decided again after several years to give this another shot. I haven't started yet, still assembling my arsenal. I'm hoping I didn't jump in over my head and went with a Provari with a Kayfun Lite Plus. After lurking for some time and reading thread after thread, it appeared most people end up with the Provari and even though it was a little expensive I'm a big believer in the adage "you get what you pay for". As for the Kayfun, that's what I'm worried about. I've read a lot of good reviews on it, but being a newbie making my own coils makes me a little nervous. Wondering if I should have started out with something a little easier to work with, a clearomizer like an iClear.

I started with a dream vapors e lips style cargo tank. I got it from a B&M tobacco store. Along with some dream vapor e liquids. It was OK at first. But then I wanted better. So I placed an order for a 450mah ego style battery. Which I lobe by the way. Its small and compact. Wish I had got at least one more. But I will shortly. Also with that order I got a 900mah VV ego style battery. Its long but works great so far. Reviews say the button may break. Also a ce4 style top coil clearo. I like it on the VV but not the 450. The ohms to high for the juice in it. I also got a RGM2 BCC. It's a glass evod pretty much. I like it. But my favorite is the kanger T3s well after the aspire T3 BDC I just received today. Eve though after pulling the post. It still won't fire on my VV. In the mail I have a atomo clone, kraken, another RGM2, 18500 imr batteries, charger, and ohm tester. after ordering wire. A couple more T3s and some T3 BDCs I will be done buying equipment for a while. Outside of rebuilding supplies and juice. I want am glass. That way I dot have to worry about tank cracker juices. Can't wait for the kraken and atomo to get here.
