I started with an ego, bought a second one for a back up, bought several C4 clearomizers to be prepared for one crapping out on me.

I eventually bought an ego-V... very surprised by the size of the thing. It doesn't look much bigger in the pictures, but it's more than twice as long. Doesn't fit in the breast pocket so easily & I worry about it in my pants pocket. So I'm back to my ego for now.

I started with 4 Volt 78mm cigalikes and a 1300 mAh X2 ego battery from Smokeless Image.

Within a month I purchased a BB and Silver Bullet mechanical mods from AltSmoke.

A couple months after that I got my first Provari. I now have three.

Along the line I've gotten an MVP-V1, a Mini ZMax, a Smoktech VV Gripper, a Smoktech mechanical Gripper, a Segelei/Ovale VV V8 box mod, and a Vapage VMod-XL bottom feeder. The Provari's get most of my vaping attention.

Started with a V2. Took a few puffs and boxed it back up and sent it back. The good news is it convinced me it was going to be possible if I got more vapor and something didn't want to make me choke. Went to he local B&M they fixed me up with an evic, few cheap tanks, and some decent juice and it's been all good since.

V4L Smokeless Lounge is 2 miles away from work, so I started with a Vapor Zeus and a few of their smiliomizers. In a week I got tired refilling them all of the time and got a cheap 6ml tank that they sold. In the 2 weeks that followed, I joined this forum, read all of Baditude's blog posts and many others, then ordered a Zombie Provari, Zombie IBTank, AW batteries, a charger, bunch of carts and alot of different flavors from Mt Baker =)

Funny enough, with cigarette prices being what they are, I'm still saving money =)

Started with a BLU 3.5 years ago.

Me too! But only a few weeks ago, in my case. I agree about Blu leaving a lot to be desired.

But why would you want to quit vaping? When I began, I did a LOT of research into all the ingredients of some of the e-liquids on the market (including Halo, which I use now), and I haven't found anything that would lead me to believe that there are any significant health risks associated with vaping (not nearly as many as with smoking, anyway). I was immediately excited that I had found a perfect replacement for smoking, and best of all, NEVER AGAIN would I have to feel bad about my "inhalation habits".

I'm not saying you're wrong to quit, of course. I'm just curious.

Anyway, my first rig wasn't what I'd call a "rig" at all (I reserve that term for custom built hardware, just like I do with gaming PCs). It was a Halo G6 starter kit with a few extras, and a Halo e-liquid sampler pack.

I don't have a first mod, as I haven't begun modding yet. But someday soon - oh yes, very soon... ;)
