Here's my GUS tele v2 button mod

File off the pointed end , drill a hole, tap it and use a cheese head brass screw.

Remove the delrin parts, use a screw drive or c-clips plier to remove the c-clip and the rest will fall apart

But to answer the question, no leaks. All my gennys are leak proof with the modifications I make. No point modifying if it doesn't solve the problem.

May I know the purpose of that spring?

Becoz zap spring corroded.
It affected the resistance.
Always have to do filing to bring the spring bsck to silver.

So I make a brass spring instead.

Very nice to hear by sticking a tube into the air hole will stop the leaking. Will try them out for sure.
